Pierina, thanks for the well wishes; I am SO MUCH better! Can't believe I was so sick.
And... the new Kermit (of course you would go for the blue) but I totally forgot I have the yellow ... duh. I will photo it tomorrow. As for the "Tropiques" the boarder is yellow yellow yellow.... The pink "Les Danses" is stunning on you.

Chestnutty, I want the polka dot whatever-you-are-wearing; dots rock! So does the scarf, but those dots... and damn dame! I want your figure

NestGirl, the Bateaux with the linen is very subtle and sophisticated; kudos!

Crazyaboutshoes, some nice ties with that Kermit...

Anfang, your English is pretty perfect; what is your native language?

Beautiful contributions from everyone...

D Lee: A stunning colorway...love the blues and greens with that striking yellow background and border. I've got one in gray/green and I think the ones with colors show the design better! Very pretty.

Anfang: Your Pavois is lovely and you've styled it so that the colors really pop. Very nice.

Jahna: Thanks for all the detailed background info and great quotes! I'm fond of "birds" and we're cousins on the Tropiques! Great colors in both of these scarves.

NestGirl: I love how you've styled your Bateaux! Tres chic!

Chestnutty: A beautiful selection! I'm becoming very fond of "moussies" and yours is stunning. The yellow and pinks really make this one a stand out!

Best to all!

Merci!

I wish I could be so slim to wear a scarf as a belt.

You are very sweet...I am sure you could! :smile1:

Ah, Jahna, I'm sooooooo French, and such is my native language. Thus the problem, you probably know or heard how French people are horrible when it comes to speak any language but French... And this is SO me... :shame:

Slowly finishing up some favorite Kermit Oliver designs. His new one, La Vie Sauvage du Texas/Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Conservation/New Texas does have some yellow in it too. ;)

Pierina, this is beautiful! I love this design having just finished writing a book on conservation. I love the blues and the cowboy knot is a favorite tying style.

Pegase: I always enjoy seeing a design in different sizes and colorways and this is a real treat. It's a beautiful scarf and looks just different enough so that you really feel as though it's not a simple "repeat."

pierina2: Two beauties.....I'm especially fond of your Les Deanses....the pink is TDF....seriously...and the new Texas Wildlife is a testament to KO's talents. You wear those colors so well!

crazyaboutshoes: You've tied your KO to show the design and colors very nicely! The green background and border is a wonderful complement to all the other colors in that scarf! Chic styling!

Regards!

I have several scarves that I would consider more of a true yellow....and this is one of them. The tag is long gone but it's Ahola with many bright, beautiful colors. I always wear it when we travel there. One of my favorites.

Regards!

how lovely!!! beautiful colours and thank you VERY much for modelling pic. I've just bought my first plisse and have no idea how to wear it (actually still waiting for it to be posted). your tie looks so cute.

and thanks for compliments to my KO;)

Gorgeous OrangeAddiction! I have to say I love the plisses; like having a gentle ferret around your neck. Well...maybe not an analogy for everyone, but I cozy up to the idea :p

Thanks so much for the compliment! There may be a little booklet inside the box...I'm not sure if there are still including it...and it will help you style your scarf several ways. If not there are several "how tos" on YouTube and on MaiTai's Picture Book (http://www.maitaispicturebook.com/search/label/Plissé) I generally use small scarf rings to keep the structure secure throughout the day! Welcome to the plisse club. I really like them even though they can take a few extra minutes to style if you've had too much coffee in the morning.....

OrangeAddiction, this is a great one! Perfect pics!
Merci!!! I appreciate the compliment coming from you!

Oh, I love the idea of something soft and gentle around my neck....I just prefer it not to be moving around too much!!! BTW...envy on my end regarding your collection of scarves...you've posted some I've never seen.....omg.

Regards to all!
