This Faune Lettre is taking my breath away, Ladybaga. Is this a Maxi Twilly? If so, I'll be rushing out to find one! It makes a perfect teaching scarf for you, and a perfect editing scarf for me. :D

Hi arabesques! It is actually a 90. It would be so cute as a maxi twilly! What a great idea! I loved this pattern and had such a hard time deciding on a color way. I think my 6th and 7th grade English students will get a kick out of it.
( At least I hope so! :))
Thank you for your sweet complement! Come be my twin!!!
P.S. I have loved reading your recent blog entries about your latest HG Hermes textiles! What gorgeous treasures you have found! Each looks as if they were created just for you!

Cherryblossum, Summersolo: Welcome to the thread and thank you for sharing your photos!
Thank you,Chestnutty! I'm glad to be warmly welcomed to your forum and I really enjoy it!

Hello Scarf Friends!
I can't let Bright Color Scarf Week leave me in the dust, so I'd like to post two new brights that I picked up last week. The first is Les Canyons Etoiles bandana and the second will be my Back to School teaching scarf, Faune Lettree. Thank for letting me share! I am so sorry for having a non excused absence from this thread! It is my favorite one but I've been too lazy and hot to post! Hugs to you all!!!View attachment 2704881View attachment 2704883View attachment 2704887

Hello,Ladybaga! I am so curious that I follow which scarves you choose every season! Both are so bright and they look fabulous one you!

Oooh, that black faune with red hem looks awesome with the striped blouse! Sweet teacher outfit.
I agree with you, momasaurus! The striped blouse or jacket with bright scarves...I want to try!

LadyBaga, I have been missing your smile!!!! So glad to see your post again! :smooch:

Oh Mars cousin! You always look great with your scarves! I wish I could do gold scarves as well as you do!

Sending my long overdue compliments to Croisette7 and Birkinmary for your wonderful and enviable scarf collection and your kind contributions. I can no longer post because I was drooling all over my keyboard everytime I saw your posts and caused it to crash (j/k, LOL).

Cherryblossum, Summersolo: Welcome to the thread and thank you for sharing your photos!

Back to lurking...
Many thanks for your compliments, Chestnutty.

Ladybaga, VigeeLeBrun, Chestnutty, Bidonce, momasaurus, cappys, eagle1002us, birkinmary, Bova123, CanuckBagLover, Croisette7--many thanks for all the love on the Sous l'Egide de Mars! Wow, that was very cheering. :D

In answer to some of your questions, it is CW/Nuance 1 in Cobalt/Vieux Rose/Canard. I tied it in a cowboy knot but used a horn slide instead of a more traditional knot to secure.

(The interesting thing about this colorway is that it appealed to me not at ALL on the website--it looked like a weird mashup of colors. But when I actually tried it on in the boutique...magic! I fell in love and couldn't get it out of my head...had to go back to the store and make it mine!)

I find that a cowboy (or variant thereof) is often the best way to show most of the design of the scarf--you get the field, part of the center, the corners, and any contrast hem all in one swell foop!

Sliding cowboy = new knot! Do you have some other brights to show off before the theme changes tomorrow, rosamonde?
