Good idea, this seems actually pretty basic to accomplish :)

The friendship knot is actually very simple when you get it. I once caught myself doing it without realizing, even though I was thinking about a basic ascot ;) MaiTai did it also with 2 matching gavroches, and the result is quite nice.

Edit: my mistake. MaiTai didn't show the friendship knot with the 2 gavroches. She has good ideas though: http://www.maitaispicturebook.com/2010/11/double-gavroche-twist-knot.html?m=0

Step 5 part 2

Today contribution is Bolduc, I've chosen the orange one as it's so iconic, I took this photo with the huge bolduc ball just for fun:

Birkinmary, thank you for sharing so many gorgeous pairings this week! You look fantastic wearing your cheval sur mon carre! Stunning! Also, what a fantastic photo of Your Bolduc silk...love how you grouped and staged this photo so artfully.

Thank you Eagle- Fbg by Night is a lovely design when you look at it in detail!

For this week's theme I wore my pink Kelly en Caleche on Tuesday - it is so hot here in the UK at present that I can't really bear to wear another but I may wear one tomorrow as I have an engagement that demands some formality.....

Scarf Addict, really beautiful and elegant silk...especially with the pearls:smile1:!

Croisette, you AMAZE!! So many of your pieces scream my name and we even are twins on several. Your pink/burgundy love is mine too. The lime green Belles is delicious. Divinity to wake up to.

Vassa, welcome to the best thread ever! What beauties you have!

Good Morrow Scarfies,

A few years ago, Hermes ventured head first into the rebellious form of street art with the “underground artist Kongo’s, Graff. To me, this piece is bright, but Honore’s Au Coeur de la Vie is not. So Silkies, let’s see what constitutes your brightest scarf: This week’s theme: Color me Bright.

And, if it is 108 degrees and humid like it is where I live, maybe a cooler but BRIGHT hair do instead of a scarf will make it into COLOR ME CRAZY week!

Croisette, I echo Vitamina's sentiment here. Look forward to your shawl posts this afternoon.
Vitamina, thank you for the kind words about my flower knot. I am definitely learning a lot here😊
