I fell in love with this design this year, and this is the only cw left my SA could secure for me. What do you think? To keep or not to keep? A nice neutral or too bland?

Do you have it on hand already? From my experience, if you saw it in person, tried on and still asked this question, it's often a must-go. There are many other cw of this shawl on evil bay, from reputable sellers, given it was at the Paris last month. Don't settle, especially for that much of money.
I personally think the yellow makes it too pale and wash-out. But I have seen ladies who wore dark apparels and dark hair and rock this cw.
Respectfully,

This came home with me when all the CSMC GMs were around , and I love it . For me the splashes of yellow made it easier to wear , they light up an otherwise very beige shawl.
In the end I exchanged it for the blue .I decided it was more flattering as I have a sallow complexion. . However I still find this neutral uber classy .and against black , dark grey and denim it's wonderful .
As has been said your colouring will be the deciding factor . If the SA can get hold of one and it doesn't suit you will be able to return it within 2 weeks .

Thank you Seton!
This is my contribution to the thread today:

Twins with this one, and it's an unusual colour way . It was my first ever gavroche and I still love wearing it , the colour combination is perfection .

So much to catch up! I've seen beautiful scarves and super stylish ladies lately, I'll need a whole month to see everything in detail. In the meantime, this is my first contribution to the week theme:
