This Kermit Oliver Exhibit was extended through June if anyone is in proximity to Galveston.

Thanks for posting this. I hate I missed this by day as I would definitely have driven to Galveston for this.

Happy 4th of July to those Scarflandians on this side of the pond or expatriates who mark the day! I am sputtering with indecision like a damp firecracker today-- partly due to weather (the range will be from 66F to 83!!!) and partly due to our plans. I don't know what my SOTD will be! I am avoiding the traffic and tourists today (we love to complain about "summer people" even while we welcome their business and the energy they bring to the season) so I have some happy time to play with red white and blue options...
Les Mustangs Bandana with a striped top?

A cotton charm Kelly en Caleche in red white and blue with a red dress (and new Medor Alu stud earrings!)...

Or I could reprise what I wore to dinner last night, which is on theme due to the Colibrí

And I haven't even included yet my "fireworks scarf" so stay tuned! 🧨 🎆 🎇
Love your blue Colibri!❤️

Happy 4th of July for those who celebrate! Here is my new to me plisse, I’m experimenting with how to tie, but not (knot) wowed by either- more practise required!
So pretty @paula24jen-- I adore the colors! Early America? I just was scarfluenced by an Instgrammer to acquire one also and I too need practice. I think these look great! I ust want to know the secret to keeping them from flopping as the day wears on...

The Mustangs Bandana looks wonderfully fresh, I think it takes off at least 20 years of whoever wears it!😁
Thank you! I am just thinking wistfully of all the places I could go and the bucket list things I could cross off the list with 20 more years @darkstar66. Learn Italian, take up flower arranging, cello lessons, write a book of essays, travel and more travel...

Thank you @Croisette7, @Jereni, @GloWW0rM, @EtsyBoss and @Helena7 for your very nice comments.

Fantastic @xincinsin -- I am so happy that you finally were able to get the kaki Precious Paradise! It was my choice too (along the white)-- a marvelous changeable color and a fabulous hem! I am your twin and/or sister on many of these (a jungle chicken, the lovely cranes) several of which you enabled, so thank you as well. I love the pendant with your anthracite Phoenix.

You are perfectly on theme and in solidarity with the Red, White and Blue @GloWW0rM -- and so nice to see you back here and all caught up, too. I have missed your posts, your scarves and your smile!

Twins @FA73! I totally agree on the motivation for collecting it. A truly unique color base-- it is even different from other scarves I have called kaki, so there's H at work for you... your blouse brings out the silveriness very beautifully.

Congratulations @Helena7! It is always so wonderful to see your new beauties. I love the Tyger (of course!) but the artwork on your Pony Pit Stop is very pretty...

Congratulations @HermesEchidna-- the beige is pretty against your grey top. Is the blue similar to the bright side of Sous les Charmes d'Orphee? I have wondered...

A beautiful, bright Brazil @darkstar66-- this just lights you up!

So stunning @Croisette7! Did this come only in 140? The colors are TDF...
Thank you @LKBNOLA ! And good question about the blues. I pulled out the Orphee for comparision and it is a bit brighter - even though the whole design appears darker. Here are some photos 😊 - the light is not the best as a thunder cloud has just hit us, but the colors are accurate.

Thank you for this @HermesEchidna. The "color nerd" in me is always curious when H's color descriptors are the same. Both of these are "bleu azur" and yet the other colors in the design have such a strong influence on the tonality and effect... Congrats again on your new in!

Still not on theme but traveling with my En liberté twilly and Botanical Grafika to ward of the (thankfully functional) train AC.

Happy July 4th to all celebrating! For my family it is always a big party, since it is my grandma‘s birthday. 88 this year and I am curious what new dresses await me from her workshop when I get there later for the celebrations…

It is indeed Early America (for 4th of July, obvs). This has stayed nicely plump, perhaps the key is not to try too elaborate a knot?

Happy 4th to all the stateside members of Scarflandia! We had remarkably delightful weather this morning in D.C. and we went for a big walk and just enjoyed the hustle and bustle of everyone out and about.

I’m stoked to introduce a new-in - Feux du Ciel which was perfect timing for this holiday! Definitely inspired by @LKBNOLA on this one.
