I am traveling again next week but hope to participate a bit in this theme! Meantime, I saved out one of my Parures for a crossover-- I always call this my "pink" Parures even though that is far from its only color calling card! The last of my multiples and the first of my "pinks"...

Beautiful with this blue tone. We are twins and you inspired me to wear mine with a cool blue (if I have one).

Since this is pink week and this new CSGM GTN is PINK I am hoping for opinions.

I purchased @laurenad ’s colorway and am thinking it is too close in color to my ACT III to justify keeping. Heavily leaning toward returning. What do you think? (Not even sure I like it tied in the last pic)

Hmm I see your dilemma. they are somewhat similar in feel although I admit I prefer the act3.

Good morning Scarflandia!

This week - a color dear to my heart…

October 9 - Pretty in Pink (movie) Scarves from blush to fuchsia or with pops of pink
PINK!

The movie ‘Pretty in Pink’ is a John Hughes’ film, about a high school girl ‘from the wrong side of the tracks’, meaning she isn’t wealthy and isn’t ‘cool’. Long story short - she ends up with a nice and cool guy all while wearing a pretty pink dress she has designed.

I think this might mean that pink is magical!
I knew it!!

As a fun crossover from last week’s multiples - great week @bunnycat - a few pink Brides de Gala!

October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We all know someone - friends or family - who has been struck by this disease. We wear pink in solidarity with all women this month, but we’re aware it’s not just for one month that we must all fight this battle. Girl Power!

This week we wear pink because it’s magical and for Breast Cancer Awareness!
Thank you, @bunnycat , for leading us down the Path of Multiples, giving me ideas for dups and further making me appreciate the value of a treasured design in various formats and cws! Which brings us to pink and all its variety. Wonderful intro, Cookie, this will be a fun week. Pink is one of my very fav colors. Some archive photos: Premier Chant

Thank you, @bunnycat , for hosting Multiples Week, and welcome to @Cookiefiend as the host of Pink Week.

I am beginning this week with my pink Eleftheria, although I also own the yellow with white letters version which itself contains a lot of pink.

Well, I’m stunned, Julide, pretty as a box of crayons and too beautiful an array, really. :faint:

Dear partners in crime!
Your pictures and stories provided effective guilt-relief this week! Thank you! It’s so good to laugh together through constraints, bans and infatuations.
Never thought I would fall for the same pattern in a different colour!
My latest coup de coeur - Rob Leger’s Gavroche Twill. Originally I wanted to get a blue or a red one, but the store did not have any of those. After trying a multicoloured cw with an orange borderline, I fell in love with it, bought it and discovered that it was almost like neutral, matching nicely blue, and beige, brown and grey, complimenting casual t-shirts and jeans. The thought of the red cw haunted me for four weeks and I reasoned with myself successfully, though. Finally, my alternative inner voice convinced me that I deserved something extra for the up-coming b-day. I thought I would just go and check, and since the store didn’t have the red cw i, perhaps, would just safely order. You know the end of this vignette: the store has got the vermillion/rose/grid cw 11 just that very morning I decided to check. My “red” Gavroche came home with me
I hope to be super strong not to check on the blue cw and the 90 carres!
Here are my pics for you:

Dear scarfies, have been MIA due to family matters and just plain avoiding social media for a bit! Slowly getting caught up again and visiting recent threads on the latest and upcoming scarf issues.

I haven’t been wearing too many silks since working from home but now fall weather gets me to bring out those pretty colorful squares. I nearly wanted to release many over the summer as they have been languishing in the tansu, but now seeing them I feel happy wearing one or two again.

As for theme week, I initially avoided the designs of Kermit Oliver with the seriousness of his subjects and realistic renderings, but I grew to appreciate his artistry as I became more knowledgeable about his work and his relationship with Hermes.

I’m grateful to have a few of his designs. They all depict Native American or wildlife, both subjects that are dear to me. Today it is Les Danses des Indians.

Have a great weekend!

Then later when it hit the 70’s and too hot for csgm, I wore my Rialto of which I have 3 in total. Never have done a chou chou? Knot w a 90. I usually do it w a gav. I don’t mind it, but it’s a much bigger ball!
