I love these earth tones!

Fabulous little dragonfly!

It’s a stunner!
It's the cutest dragonfly ever!
Pirula, this is spectacular! Such great colors on you.

Nomad, I love this tied this way. It so suits the design and looks fab on you. Conrats!

Lkb, that sounds like such a fun day. This blue is a beauty. I have seen lumieres online periodically, but never seen it tied. This is a winner!

Snausages, lucky you to have two DUJAs! They are so hard to come by now. Lovely on you. ❤

Agrume, this looks great with yoir sweater. Perfect for fall.

Gorgeous and ethereal in pink, cookie!

I can see why, hotgalaxy. Those marble silks are special!
Thank you sweetheart!
Inspired by @hotgalaxy's lovely still life, I paired my own Brides de Gala Marble Jacquard with a cobalt blue top today. I am so in awe of this scarf that I am almost afraid of it, but then I put it on and it is magical and breathtaking so... Deep gratitude to @Redbirdhermes for the alert that got me this beauty in the first place and for her Kyoto marble love and inspiration, and delighted to be twins with @Cookiefiend and @hotgalaxy as well. Oh, and for the Color Convo ladies, my lipstick is Hermes Rose Zinzolin!

SOTD Eleftheria - just happens to be one of my favourites. So much so I have two c/ways. I would even consider adding another!! This is one that travelled around Europe for a few weeks, when after a couple of wines one evening I got onto the Austrian Hermes instead of the Australian Hermes! The Aussie staff were so good sorting it out for me. And on NYE 2021 I was finally able to buy it on the Australian site! I love a scarf with a story behind it!
It is a beauty... even more so since it's the one that Almost got away!! :giggle:
I think this was my first 140 summer silk, and I don’t know why I haven’t worn it much because the color and details definitely leave me breathless

Tapis Persans (got the Lift at the same visit)View attachment 5610905)
Great Googly Moogly!!! :faint:
(that PINK!!)

This scarf is one that I searched for, I thought I’d never find it… it’s a simple design, there’s not ‘much’ to it - not a lot in the design, not a lot of color (in this format anyway), but it has some darling dragonflies and a big fish… and it’s pink.

:faint: These colors are stunning together. And that light pink lift brings it up another level of perfection too

Gads these are gorgeous!

JB is always breathtaking! And am I correct this is a 2nd colorway of Cheval Turc?! Love the purples!

You *are* the marble queen and that colorway of DUJA is divine!

Lovely to see you again! Lovely scarves and knots as always!

Oooh embroidered cashmere! Breathless indeed!

RL is such a sleeper design for me - love how it can look like completely different scarves depending on the knot!

Snickers is leaving me breathless because she’s adorable and I do t want her to snag that moussie!

That looks amazing with so many different colors!

Beautiful! How on earth do you get a 90 with such minimal tails?!

On my wish list! It has so many happy dogs!

Lol- yes- I think it was the surprise element that kept her under control. Usually I am lot letting her within 3 feet of a scarf....with very good reason.

A few weeks ago, I had a delightful visit with a scarfie friend. She very generously packed some designs from her collection for me to see and even try, which was great fun. One design that she wore left me completely breathless. I immediately went on a hunt though I was doubtful I would be able to find it. On a whim I checked the "close-outs" section of a reseller whose site I like and trust and there it was! So this beauty is both breathtaking to look at and was a breathtakingly quick search to boot! Les Lumieres de Paris by Natsuno Hidaka. This looks as mesmerizing as any stained glass window-- blues to get lost in for days...

Fantastic colors and congratulations LKB!

I added Appaloosa and Tyger GMCS from the boutique but otherwise I foolishly passed on Alice Shirley designs when they were issued. I’ve been working on correcting my past and am delighted to have two DUJAsView attachment 5610425View attachment 5610444

These are wonderful on you Snausages!

Your collection is awesome, Xincinsin! I am not so into those skeletons, but you wear them with verve!

Those orange scarves/hems are gorgeous, Cookie!

a great scarf - and a very cute kitten, Bunnycat!

Thank you, Awillow! :hugs:

Wow! Especially the pairing with the red dress is perfect.

Very pretty, Nomad!

Congratulations with your find, you seem to enjoy it!!

Great colours indeed!

You make me want this cw, Awillow... although it would not be the best choice…

Agree, it is a great design, for any Art Deco (and blue!) lover.

Hello twin, and this is a very nice necklace, too.

Thank you kindly Agrume!

Chorus Stellarum today, it's mesmerizing...I really want another colorway too, but can't decide which one now. I'm more fond of the orange and pink one now, and less fond of the unattainable grey and green colorway that I thought would be more lime, but seems more pale green instead...still I'd like to try it first.... What should I do scarf-sisters and scarf-brothers???

I don't know what I like more:
how you tamed the giant silk or how you put together your outfit.

Some designs are stunners but I don't realize it at first glance. I'm bad at visualizing scarves as they may appear tied. Many of my early non-H scarves have a lovely centre motif and empty corners. These two scarves weren't on my radar till last year. One day, I took a good look at them and was bowled over.

Sous l'Egide de Mars
I wanted this particular cw but not at a cut-throat price, so it took almost a year to finally hit BIN.

This was the scarf I wore on my flight home today. It certainly was appropriately themed as there were storms and howling winds every day at my mountaintop resort.
Ombrelles et Parapluies
One day, those lovely corners just drifted into my awareness and I was smitten.

Thank you @Snausages, @GloWW0rM, @Nomad, @Agrume, @Awillow for the compliments and to @Cookiefiend for her "illuminating" observation

I have always adored this cw @Awillow and it is breathtaking on you! You will have to explain how you tie your scarves this way..

These are both absolutely beautiful @Snausages-- your blue DuJA is just magical and I love the styling. The pink DuJA is so vibrant and beautiful on your yellow top...

I am always called by this design too @Agrume-- the details you highlighted are so wonderful and how much more wonderful to have found a CSPM in the perfect colors! Congratulations on this truly lovely acquisition. (And I too absolutely can fall in love with a design from the title alone too!)

As @Agrume said, it is pink and it is a mousseline but also-- that dragonfly! Just lovely @Cookiefiend. I can see why you searched...

They are bonkers @Teaforparrots but never say never! I acquired a PdS preloved with a tiny run and would seek out even more to add to my little family if I could...

I love this @hotgalaxy and will also be posting my twin this week. You have given me a great idea as I have only tried this one on-- it is so beautiful I am almost afraid to wear it! I adore the photo of it with your bag-- a beautiful H Color Magic still life...
Thank you, LKBNOLA!

This looks very refreshing - if you can say this about a skeleton?

Not enough superlatives exist to describe the experience of seeing a H scarf for the first time!
This cw took my breath away when I first saw it on display in a London boutique - (jungle) love at first sight.
Jungle Love hot pink (3).JPG

I was on the waiting list at Harrods for Les Ameriques after seeing the design featured in Vogue and I received the phone call confirming it had arrived. After much anticipation it was an overwhelming experience seeing this spectacular beauty irl for the first time.

My fav cw, thanks to a friend in the US this beauty made its way into my collection.

Another visit to Harrods scarf counter where both these cws came home with me, seems like yesterday although it was back in 2001. My photos are unable to capture the overwhelming beauty of the design.

Another stunning H design ... there are so many.
At the time of issue in 2007 it was the H scarf with the most screens.

In Paris this spring, we went to the boutique on George V - where I didn’t look at one thing. Later in the trip we walked to Sevres - where I looked in the cases and was floored by what I found innocently lying in the case.

DuJA is another favourite. autumn has finally started, and I write this to the sound of rain, much missed during the dry summer. This cw, I think, can both mean spring and autumn.

I think you're correct that CdlV had (has?) the most screens - it is an astonishing scarf. Each time I bring mine out (and it's out for this week :giggle:), I spend a few minutes just ogling it in amazement.

Agree - it's an astonishing scarf with so much detail and depth of colour.
I visited the Hermes workshop in Pantin back in 2006 where I was told a scarf with Coeur in the title would be issued the following year and it would have the most screens. I believe it's been superseded by another design.
