I normally would wear my new Tigre Royale with pinks and oranges as well as the neutral charcoal grey. But today I decided to punch up the mauve/purple fronds on the "B side" (or "A side" depending on your pick, but I tend to reach for the quieter side first). I am quite pleased with it! You can't see in the photo but my slightly faded black jeans also pick up the grey tiger colors so I am 100% flipped  Also love the satellite ring worn vertical-- thanks to @Maedi who inspired me to play with it...

Absolutely gorgeous! I keep thinking I have this colorway but I have the blue one.

A few more flips and matches for this week.

Before I decided on the Fleurs et Paillons CSGM the other day, I tried Zebra Pegasus with the nude pink shirt to echo the warm pink tone of the dusty rose ZP in a kind of warm pink and black stripe blend.

Then decided to wait, and wear it later with black for contrast...(I'm so original...)

I most often wear this Tout en Quilt with pink or purple (since there is so much there!) but a few months ago I tried it with the eye-searingly bright H orange cashmere sweater to echo the warm corals and peaches found on it for more of blended look. (If that is possible... ) The softer peaches recede in to the backdrop of the bright orange shirt.

And then today decided to try to pair it with some of the brown and bronze shaded details on it. Here the peach shades stand out.

Your earrings are a perfect compliment to this scarf. Beautiful all around.

This is a great comparison @Redbirdhermes. I have a pink and a blue (both wash versions) and was sorely tempted by your beautiful new white one! I love purple and blue together...

Thank you @Nomad, @Snausages and @bunnycat!

How lovely @cakeymakeybakey -- congratulations on your new scarf and I hope your pooches are on the mend...

I love love love your ZP both ways @bunnycat and the Tout en Quilt pairings are fascinating examples of the colors' mutability depending on the outfit... (and thank you for the stripe- Tigre love  )

:ty: :hugs: Did you get the green Tigre @MAGJES?

Thank you @cakeymakeybakey-- I am learning a lot about colors just from playing with scarves!

Twins @citykitty and congratulations on a beautiful addition. I feel like these colors work so well for you and with your lovely skirt!

What a lovely outfit @Maedi! Consider it flipped! That green is so calm and lovely. This is my favorite cw of Bingata.

Thank you kindly LKB!

Thank you Maedi! I made them some years ago. Actually they were a duplicate of another pair I made for myself but in nicer materials, and then put these up in my Etsy shop. They never sold, and I lost one of the originals I made one night, so I de-listed these and kept them for myself a few years ago because I really do like the color combo.

Fabulous looks Bunnycat! Loving Tout en Quilt, a rarely seen design.

Happy King's Day Agrume!
Fab shawl with orange accents.
Oh my, those pastries are making my mouth water.
Thank you, Orchard! And yes, they are yummy...

Thank you @Lellabelle-- I have a weakness for the double face format. I love the slightly weightier silk and even when the sides are not that different, I enjoy the complement/contrast H magic produces. Your CdL is so lovely and really what a fortuitous and happy pairing with your mother's lovely pendant. I think it is so special when that happens...

Oh, @orchard I love these pairings so much! This design is on my wish list for the very reasons you articulated-- it is such a positive and lovely message. Your Pliage is adorable. Besides being so stylish it is one of the most practical bags I wown (though I am now longing for a less plain version!)

What a fabulous and informative post @Agrume. I hope you really enjoyed your holiday full of orange festivities and pastries. (And a Google Doodle too! )

This is a very beautiful pairing @Awillow. Nice to see you back in TPF company.

Wonderful pairings and a great scarf on site @Pirula! A favorite scarf and place...

Your collection is so colorful @Karenska-- it was made for this week! Love seeing your new LPC, too.

These are great @MAGJES! I love seeing the two formats and this is a favorite design of mine. Don't have a CSGM but did indulge in two 90s. Feeling a bit enabled....hmmmm
Thank you, LKBNOLA!

this is fabulous! It’s got totally different vibes from the blue to the green and what a charming design and fun border!

Gorgeous orange and thank you for the education on King’s Day!

All fabulous pairings! H is truly magic

Another divine assortment! I’m a sucker for brights and gav pairings

Again, H magic at its finest
Thank you, Snausages!

I’m having my own private Alice Shirley week  I’ve tried DUJA with mustard yellow but it works better on white and turquoise

Hello twin, and love the turquoise! I also considered a combination with yellow, but do not have any yellow tops...

Heading out to my granddaughter's senior college dance recital. The Tiger changed her stripes and I changed my top!
View attachment 5390641
How beautiful you look here, the first top is the perfect pairing! The second one gives a nicely relaxed vibe!

Today and tomorrow I will be playing with my two Kachinas 90s. My first Kachinas is a lovely deep blue purchased on the resale market. My second Kachinas is a white wash scarf with a pink border that I recently purchased new from Hermès.

View attachment 5389860View attachment 5389861

Surprisingly, I have already worn each scarf with a green top.

View attachment 5389864View attachment 5389865

Well, maybe it's not so surprising considering how many colors these two colorways have in common, despite the very different background colors.

View attachment 5389866

For the purposes of pairing and flipping two colors in scarf and clothing, today I will pair the blue Kachinas with a pink top similar to the pink border in the white scarf. Tomorrow, I plan to wear the white scarf with a blue top.

Those multicoloured scarf go with almost anything, and great to see them side by side!

Your PenF is perfect! And those tompouce look really yummy.

Yowza what a flip!! Beautiful!
Thank you, bunnycat!

Sorry I've been AWOL from Scarflandia; between sick dogs and spring cleaning, life here has not been conducive to outfits and scarves. But today I had the chance to get a little dressy and don my new-to-me 140cm mousseline, Ors Bleus d'Afrique by Zoe Pauwels, in Orange, Rouge H, and Vert. I love the airiness and featherweight feel around my neck. To keep with this week's theme, I am coordinating with the books on the shelf behind me and the green of the leaves out the window...

What a lovely mousseline!

If not this shade of brown, I'm sure it will wow you with a different. these all look great.
fun, I switched to mock neck shirts and sweaters two years ago because it works well for me on camera but now i'm tired of the look and am going to opt for more scarves, this is great inspiration.
so very fun
Thanks for sharing this, another holiday I can add to my calendar. I celebrate any and all holidays as long as there is food involved....oh and the scarf looks amazing too.
Thank you, Iflola!

Stripes on stripes looks always good! and the orange top would have been spot on here yesterday with all the festivities...

It was a scarf mail day! Not much color flipping here with the matching colors, but when I got this in the mail, I had to put it on.

lovely soft colours for a classic!

Bingata with jeans and green cardigan and Tee. Did I flip it?
And a bonus cat tail.

Beautiful pairing with the soft green!

So very chic and classy. The tompouce looks delicious. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Maedi!

Wow fun theme this week. I like to be stretched in my scarf wearing. Thanks @Agrume. Your collection is magnificent. Wow. My scarf mail this week with a grail. I am to the moon with how much I love it. I had resigned myself to never getting one for close to retail about a month ago, along with Jardin anglais, and along came this guy for guilt free purchase.
I did a white shirt base since there is so much white throughout the scarf and then pulled the ?almost? orange shading color out of the ?red? shells and tree. Sometimes it’s hard to tell actual colors in scarves because they turn when up against clothes.

Very inspiring pairings, Bunnycat. I love both shawls. The Tout en Quilt has so many beautiful colors and you’ve really shown how versatile it is. And that ZP is a stunner. I remember your dilemma between the navy and this one. I think it’s perfect on you. And sooooo striking with black. And stripes!
