In honour of my guilty pleasure, I'm going to fit in a phoenix at least twice a month this year to give them all a chance to flutter out of the box

Thanks, lkb! And you are right. I was in Greece last summer in spite of the pandemic. My brother wasworking there and asked me to join him. We spent our time in Athens and on Evvia. (Last time I visited him it was Athens, the Peloponnese and Iaonnina.) Because of that, this is one of those scarves with special meaning for me. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am about this one. (I about had a heart attack when my cat, Mango, started to climb up to curl around my neck while I was wearing it! He loves to use his claws.Apologies in advance for the mega quote, dear scarfies, and for any typos therein. I hate them and often edit them out when I can but I think it will be inevitable today. I don't think I have missed anyone-- it has all been so happy making to catch up on the new posters and scarf mail and lovely SOTDs.

Thank you so much @Agrume and @bunnycat-- I gave up on the burgundy Awoooo with pink hem and then saw this design in muffler form for SS2022 and went a-hunting since it had primarily burgundy and a pink hem! Now I am so happy. Sometimes scarcity can result in scarf happiness with another design. Also it is Rybalchenko so I feel virtuous that I am sticking to my 2022 list!

Ah, @Barbette! You are absolutely the mistress of this color family-- just gorgeous. I have this in the deep blue (almost black) white and I have often eyed this one wondering...so it is a treat to see it IRL and your top is perfect.
Thank you @Maedi-- I see what you mean. I am banned from blue (by personal edict) for the moment and I am finding a real love for the range of colors from salmon --orange-- pink-- burgundy. Haven't ventured to real purple yet, but who knows? And my day was exhausting and wonderful. I love teaching but after I feel a bit wrung out! Scarfie therapy to the rescue
