Happy Sunday, dear Scarflandians!

I’m so excited to be the host of our weekly theme SOTD! It's an honor for me. I appreciate that @Living.la.vida.fifi invited me to host this week, thank you so much for giving me an opportunity to participate in this wonderful thread. And many thanks to @Cookiefiend for guiding us through the amazing week of Sweetheart Silk

This week’s theme is Tying the knot: Your favorite ways to wear a scarf.

There’s something special about Hermès' scarves – I love their rich colors, exceptional graphics and unrivaled silk quality! There are many ways to enjoy this marvelous silk. It would be great to hang it on the wall with frame, but I prefer to wear it as the ultimate accessories that enhance our daily outfit . I think many of you will agree with me!

As you know, Hermès' scarves are so versatile and can be worn in various ways. I think the biggest charm of this scarf is that you can make it look totally different depending on how you wear it. It interested me that there were no fixed rules or instructions.
So I decided to make a different knot every day when I started recording my SOTD on my Instagram account. It was very interesting to make diverse knots with one scarf. Through these works, I think I have a better understanding of how many details they have hidden in one scarf and how carefully they organized the color arrangement. It’s like a exploring – yes, in a nutshell, we are explorers of this small world of 34x34 inches! :hbeat:

Back to the point, this week, let's share the knots that you love! From fancy knots to simple but useful knots, any knot will do if you like it and enjoy it.

The knot I'm going to show you today is the knot method I showed you in my previous post. My little boys call it a ‘Snail knot.’

This is going to be a great week, and you are the perfect leader! Sometimes I forget about knots I used to like, sometimes I'm frustrated trying to show a special color or design element, mostly I just refuse to fuss, so I'm looking forward to learning some new tricks.
This video is wonderful (you posted it before and I fell in love with her soothing voice and her confidence - like saying you can do this!)

fab introduction, Yoon, looking forward very much to this week, you are the perfect host for the theme!

wonderful blues, Croisette!

I wore this yesterday for a scarfie zoom meetup, but posting today because the knot was pretty cool. I don’t know what it is, but with moussies you just wrap and fluff. View attachment 4997549
And wonderful reds/oranges, Moma!

I'm a big Alice Shirley fan so to round out this week I put on my Tyger Tyger to blast out in to newly unfrozen wilds. It was 22F 2 days ago (and had been that or lower for a week) and today was 58F and felt sooooooooooooooo gooooooood.... The cats loved it too...actual ground under the feet and not ICE! I kept saying to them "Heck yeah you wanna go out! It's 50 degrees warmer than it was last week!"

Tyger ties so beautifully! I love this lavender colorway.

What a beautiful intro ❤️ and thank you for including the instructional video!
I like your sons name - the Snail knot - so cute!
Do you pleat your scarf? Yours are so neat and crisp looking... mine are a bit crumpled looking! And how do you use the Chain D'Ancre?
(just a heads up - I’ve been taking screen shots like mad, trying to figure out some of your knots - they are so beautiful!)
I especially looooove that Chemins Secrets. It cheers me up to see the pix - it must do absolute wonders to be wearing it!
Thank you! It always make me happy, the entire scarf is just happy!

That is BEAUTIFUL! ❤️
SOTD is Early America, in a simple knot (thanks to Bunnycat).

Gorgeous, what a lovely mossy/sage green.
One of my favorit knots is this one: sometimes with, other times without a scarfring.View attachment 4997566View attachment 4997567
Spectacular! Do you prefer the knot with or without the scarf ring? Does it ‘stay’ better one way or the other?

I apologize for asking so many questions so early in the morning - I have several scarf rings bu rarely use them! I need help!

The scarfring gives both more weight pulling down and length. Sometimes I use a rubberband. It is more a question of being lazy (without) or not ( going to the drawer once more ;))...
