I have a husky "grand-dog" who has travelled the world after we rescued her from a sledding farm in Finland!Sigh! I need a husky (or a Gronland)... Our last husky was a "complainer". She met me at the gate every evening and walked me to the front door "complaining" all the way (probably about the Chow Chow who was quite dim and would walk in front of moving cars to see what was going on
).

These are amazing, Fifi! Sometimes the scarves with graphics tie the best. Panoplies Equestre, Brides et Gris Gris and Sangles Zigzag are marvelous examples. (I just missed out on a really beautiful Sangles ZZ
....) I think Tohu Bohu is another such design that graphically ties so interestingly.And I cannot upload photos to show examples. I’m receiving this edit:

Not taking anything away from any dear Scarfie’s treasured collection, Croisette, but you must have the most comprehensive collection of Monsieur Ledoux here. I am stunned by the breadth and variety of his work for Hermès that you’ve been showing this week. I don’t know which of his designs I want to add to my own collex first!

Bunnycat, could you install a heating pad or blanket? I did that once for Schwartzkatz, a black panther of a kitty, the winter before he ‘let us’ adopt him. That was around 1987/8. At that time we had the novelty of a house call vet. Schwartzy was so muscular and taught, that when we adopted him and doc came to neuter him, the anesthesia didn’t put him fully out. Out enough for surgery but not out cold. So I gently held him to keep him still while doc did his business. After which he became a beloved house kitty who got very happy and chubby.Thank you all so much! I'm doing my short daily log on to get a few things done then shut down again. Feral Boy was here again today a couple of times, ate his food, and I think we are through the worst of the cold after tonight. The weather is still promising temperatures will be over freezing tomorrow.
@turfnsurf- I think the reason my setup has worked is mainly because I do try to interact and work with him so he knows me, even if he doesn't trust me fully. Plus I had been training him to come up to the patio since late summer. Maybe a hole plus a flap for the second exit? I didn't have time for the standard feral box (some cats also hate straw), since once I knew just how cold it was going to be and that my original cold set up wasn't going to be enough, I had to improvise with an old foam mattress cover, cut up mylar packaging, and packing peanuts made in to a loose pillow (plus the fleece). By then though I had already "trained" him a little to go in the first fleece lined box, and so when I made the "upgraded" bigger box he already knew what to do.
And now....I promise....back to topic! (I only ever seem to have to use this on me...
