Today I ill throw some love to Alice Shirley (remarkably I have ended up with four of her designs). Most of mine are bright CWs but I do love this monochromatic beauty. Thank you all for the inspiration. Now if only I have the discipline to stick to my grail goals and not just buy pretty scarves!

Haha, this post needs unpacking. You are not such a newbie that you don't have a pretty clear idea of your favorite designers! Well done. Going a bit crazy for awhile - we've all been there! Wearing scarves only on zoom and to the grocery store: Yup. And your last sentence. Yes again. I have tried to say I will ONLY buy something if it's on my written wish-list, then something pretty comes along. Sigh. So, back to the beginning - you are not a newbie at all, LOL!

Also - this outfit is killer!

Oh you are right - Duels Onriques is so rare. And I adore pink and grey. Those were my college colors until they began admitting men, when the pink became maroon. (But men look so nice in pink, I think!)

I accidentally scared him out of it the other day when I didn’t realize he was in there and was putting food out for him. He panicked and ran when he hit the 7” of snow that fell during the night and I truly feared for him. I traced his tracks, then I had the wild idea that if I went out and made a path from where I knew he had run to back to me, he knows me and would know what to do. So I did that yesterday and left out food and was very gratified to find the food gone and little kitty tracks in my path from the street up to the house. We got 1/4” of ice last night and so I had to break through that today again for him and was rewarded with the sight of him shortly after eating a good meal out front.

So Dallet and his cats clearly have a special place in my heart.

I try not to play favourites with my flock, but the first issue of this design in 2011 had so many amazing cws and the 2nd issue of course was tdf :faint: I didn't buy any of the half-halfs like Cheval Phoenix or the CSGM (I'll just drool admiring @Croisette7's CSGM :lol:)

Gavs are the best! The black here is a great colorway and shows well in this design. Have you tried the mini mors ring? It really gives you lots of options when trying to wear the little silk around your neck.
