Scarf Mail! And on-topic, I think because there is so much icy blue in the cw. Cosmographia Universalis in cw 01 blanc/bleu/vert. I love it; I hemmed and hawed because I also love the darker cobalt/yellow cw and wouldn’t buy this color. So happy I did; it’s quite gorgeous. And aren’t those snow clouds in the sky? Necklace is lapis hearts and gold beads, a favorite. The scarf ring is one I have never seen except for mine - an H trio with the prettiest face. Scarf mail today!

The epitome of winter colors for me has always been a crisp snowy white and a deep forest green. I still remember having an Anne-Shirley-puffed-sleeves-style moment when I was little over this exact color combination. I was reading an American Girl historical novel and the main character’s aunt gifted her with a beautiful nutcracker doll at Christmas. It was wrapped in the most glorious deep forest green paper, a white bow, with a little fresh pine bough tucked in the ribbon. I swooned over this elegant and classic combination as a child, and I still do today! I went looking for @Karenska and @Pirula 's cw of Tyger Tyger, and although I had no luck with the 90, I stumbled upon... the CSGM version! The 90 silk might be a bit more striking in this cw, honestly, since silk takes the colors more brightly, but there was NO WAY I was going to pass up this beauty!
After a real pain-in-the-butt series of communications with the seller, I was mentally bracing myself to have to make a call to paypal upon its arrival, but it's perfect. As a total side note, this one seems to have used that same metallic effect for the artist signature/H copyright as my Ndop--we want more of this metallic goodness, H gods!

We're calling this a Valentine's gift, and I'm now sailing away for a stay on ban island, where I'll be nice and toasty!

Love! Was the seller champagne papi?? If so, I communicated with him in December for more detailed pics and he wouldn’t or couldn’t send so I was too nervous on a fake. Lucky lucky lady to snag this beauty and have a smooth transaction !! It Lois Amazing on you!

Thank you, Fifi. I know what you mean about those two CU cws! In my mind, I held out for so long, knowing I loved the lighter blue, but wanted the darker blue. I’m very happy with my choice! As for the Dallet, yes, I agree. It’s in a class by itself, I think. I hope you find one that makes you happy. Mine makes my heart sing!

Beautiful winter day yesterday - staying warm with a little help from my Appaloosa. My CSGMs almost make Canadian winters fun! And of course the other way I keep warm during winter is snuggling with my Kitty. I bought this fake fur blanket and put it over me and she comes and curls up on lap and falls asleep - our nightly ritual.

And finally, a design I fell in love with in all its incarnations: CSGM, the dip dye-looking 90, and this eyeliner version. Although I love the blue eyeliner, I chose the green, equally gorgeous, because my collection is predominantly blue. It’s brand new and the price was very fair. And it’s by one of my very favorite artists.
