Today I’m wearing my favorite neutral color scarf - Projets Carres au Crayon scarf 90 (Sable/Turquoise/Brun)...It may sound crazy but I like changing the knotting styles throughout the day...

Thank you for the kind comments and well-wishes for my daytrip yesterday. Here is the view of my lake this time of year showing some of the trucks and ice fishing houses on the ice. I was inspired to order La Vie du Grand Nord while I was there just for the ice fishing on the scarf. It should arrive in time for Horns week.

Today's SOTD shows the snow and flocked pine branches that I see this time of year in Noel au 24 Faubourg. I added the white freshwater pearl souffle necklace for @AnnaE and others who may enjoy seeing them. My earrings are white South Sea keshi pearls.

Here is my keeping-warm wintery SOTD, my orange -pink cashmere/silk Plumes et fetes -tucked into my coat filled with down and feather. Its lovely white and cold here now, and I love the colours in this scarf these days. Or any day, actually. I bought it here in my town, could not forget the beautiful display in the H-shop and kind of bought it cause of gutfeeling and instant love. (Had planned of something neutral, haha). On theme today with my beloved Neorocabar cashmere muffler. I just moved into a new apartment where the heaters are, joy oh joy, broken in the middle of winter. (Management is supposed to send someone tomorrow, fingers crossed...) And I haven't unpacked all my clothes so I have no idea where most of my warm stuff is. This muffler is pure cashmere and super warm - it's been a godsend and I literally haven't taken it off all week. It's the best thing to wrap yourself up in for extra coziness One of my colleagues commented on zoom that I must really like this thing, given how often I wear it

I'm going to save this pic of Chiff to cheer myself up when the going gets tough

A couple of nights ago, DS was helping the owner of Neighbour's Cat to search for her other cat. Like many scarfies experienced here, Other Cat is an indoor cat who slipped out and went missing. We've never even seen Other Cat before. Shy retiring scaredy cat who never sets a paw outside the house. And grey. And late at night. DS went out armed with a torchlight to scan the bushes, drains and under cars. Luckily, before the search went too far down the road, they found her hiding in their own garage under one of their own cars. Whew!

It is indeed! Both in colour and design. Jonquilles are from the same family as narcissus which is a traditional decorative plant displayed during the Lunar New Year.

Lol- I remember gifting my dad a fantastic charcoal polo with hot pink stripes for him to wear to look hip; but confess to borrowing it occasionally (the oversized look was much favored by my young crowd)

Congrats! Locally daffodils are erroneously called buttercups (a completely different plant with yellow flowers). I have both that pop up in my horse fields- daffodils stay, but buttercups are a nuisance weed that gets sprayed. It makes me a bit crazy when people here think they’re the same thing and my family delights in teasing me.
