Thank you, Awillow ... here is the blue one

What a treasure this is Croisette!
Good morning, Awillow! I hear you about both designs and the high prices. I think you would look great in that neutral cw with the red hem, my fav cw. I also like both blues (@Agrume’s cw and the icier blue) and the reddish rose. Here is a photo of that neutral. I love it and missed out three times on it! (Stomps foot!) View attachment 4970054
Oh I love this Karenska!

Awillow this design is so different in the black/white colorway....more chic imo!
I’m not sure if this is the correct week . But my hubby just got me this scarf and it’s my first Hermes. So so excited

What a fabulous 1st scarf!

I’m less of a fan of black scarves since I own so much black clothing but I do enjoy the occasional “pastel black”. I almost never wear scarves since we went to telework (my colleagues tend to be on the casual side of biz casual despite our in-office attire being biz professional) but decided the students in a class I teach can use a little glamour. Vintage Springs, super soft with age. Also since it’s black appreciation week, showing off my “David by David” (David Bowie by David Amoroso) and looking at this photo...I really need to update my beige walls.

Love the scarf - really love the painting.
Funny your comment about the beige walls. We have a lot of original art & paintings as well. We had multi-coloured walls before we renovated and then the designer said we should repaint in beiges to show the art better. I was dubious but complied & think it does work better. Just this past reno (Coivd activity) new designer also spontaneously agreed with the beige to display art best but suggested we increase the sheen (from 2% to 7%) - interestingly enough it actually works as a change and shows the art better.

I’ve repainted three rooms in the past month, a friend upon hearing my plans said “yeah ick, beige”. I found myself feeling the same until I started to paint and realize I’m a bit loath to let them go. 14 years ago I was living in Singapore and the house was rented out, my father had the house repainted before we moved back in so it would feel fresh, he also opted for beige since he expected me to change them within a year. I loved the beige for exactly the reason as your designers, it showcased some great pieces I picked up overseas (including my prized russel wong prints), that plus raising a teen (still traumatized) graduate studies and general life, the walls never got repainted. My dad is gone (on one of of his extended overseas trips as I prefer to believe) and today the beige represents his love...maybe I’ll cut out a piece of drywall and frame it as I refresh the paint....thanks for letting me ramble
