I have never seen this, croisette. It is lovely. I am so intrigued by it - the same way I am by Marine Naif (Henry Smith, Sailor) in that it so effectively depicts another medium. Thanks for posting it!

I also think this little guy belongs in this week....Apparently he is a blacker than black subspecies of Bird of Paradise. I forgot his real name, but this week his name is VantaBoP.

It's gorgeous. And so different with the different outfits.
Very chic, Karenska.SOTD and on theme. It’s a very bright day and I could not get my mod shots to be true, so sorry for the washed out quality of my photo. En Desordre Multico Fleuri maxi twilly cut in rich, dark shades of blue, navy and grey. Nicole Barr silver and blue stained glass dragonfly pin and silver Tiffany daisy pin. View attachment 4969441
This galaxy is so cool! Looks great on you.Waiting for a settlement conference wearing my trusty navy blue velvet blazer (goes with everything and I unfortunately have a bunch of blazers I’ve put off altering since I lost weight), and my Galaxy scarf. This is the scarf I have with the most black in it, although I don’t think it is particularly dark. View attachment 4969237
Thank you, scarf1!love this! And your pins too!
Very beautiful way to keep warm,
This looks great! I love that there is a dark and a light possibility.Actual SOTD and my darkest scarf, Awoooo in CS 100. I usually fold to highlight the light half, but today tied to highlight the darkest part. Worn with dark charcoal top.View attachment 4969356
oops tag is showing.
Oh thank you, Karenska! You are too sweet. One of the guys is a pretty sharp dresser, but I think H won the day in the style war! It's the only real weapon I have in my arsenal, but it's pretty effectiveWell, you look gorgeous, Awillow, and was probably the most stylish meeting participant of the group. I love how this ties! It is a stunner. Love your coat, too. It’s 18 here but very bright and sunny.
Thanks, Langsam. Not an intuitive choice for that scarfSo lively paired with the gold sweater!
Merci, dear agrumegreat pattern for a black background, Karenska!
You do look warm - and très chic, Awillow, fabulous scarf!

This looks lovely and toasty. Beautiful, MB!SOTD - Jaguar Quetzal CSGM with a black cashmere turtleneck sweater. It is freezing here (-13C/9F) so I am doubling up for warmth.

Agrume, what a great scarf! It suits your coloring well. I keep looking for a VdP, but can't decide on a colorway. My hunch is none of the ones I have seen will be great on me.off topic, scarf mail last week, Le voyage de Pythéas. I was looking for a colourway less pale than the one I have.

Everybody’s black and dark-colored scarves just look so chic! I’ve seen about a dozen so far that I want to put on ‘the list’ for the future!
Here’s a Parures des Majarajas. The pic on the Hermès website was ho-hum, but when I saw a detail photo on here, and in particular saw the contrast hem, I was sold on it.
