Thank you both!
Unfortunately my MIL died 5 years ago, and she was often in hospital during her last months. Since she had an apartment in an old age residence it must have been someone from the staff who stole the scarves. But of course, they never found the culprit (we‘re not sure if they really looked very hard  ). Definitively a cautionary tale!
That is so terrible, SusieAugusta. So sorry to hear of this happening to your morher-in-law.

Les Cabanes ... twins with Lostinlondon, where is he? I remember his great modelshots!
Simply stunning Croisette - these are marvelous!
Scarfmail arrived to day - and it is even on topic, showing quite a few men:
High Perch (formerly known to me as Wedgwood)

And whats more….it is from Ledoux. :yahoo:

And a fabulous color!!
Lurker here coming up for air! I’ve become a fan of the men’s collection (and am I interpreting h.com correctly that a women’s gav is about 50% pricier than a man’s pochette - same size?).

While it’s cool enough for a scarf I’ve been doing inventory in a warehouse so from the archives…

(Technical difficulty! 2 more to add in a separate post!)
Gorgeous and ohmi - that hem!
Ledoux has lots of men sporting top hats among the hackney coach drivers in Fiacres. Many thanks to @xincinsin for displaying her scarf last year, which put me on a mission to find one for myself. It has a few faint spots that did not come out in the wash, but the hems are round, and the silk is soft. I just love these vintage silks.

I am sorry to have missed so many great scarves the last few weeks. I definitely want to catch up - especially seeing everyone's favorites from last week. But here on theme this week is the love it or hate it scarf, C'est la Fete (double-sided). Love for me!View attachment 5117383

Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve missed so much, I’ve been traveling! Hooray! Wanted to share some pics from a very special day on that trip. On theme since I wore Pytheas and a scarf on site of sorts as I went on a whale watch with our own lovely @Bova123 who wore her exquisite UTW:

I‘ve just been reading and admiring everybody’s contributions over the past week because I‘ve been quite busy. There were so many treasures on display here, it‘s really been a treat! I had to get some work done because I wanted to take a couple of days off and now I‘m back again in Venice, once again with my mother - and my new to me Rialto came with me. So this post is more or less a belated contribution to last week’s theme. It‘s so hot and humid right now in Venice that my scarf mostly had to do double duty as a belt.

you have the perfect scarf ring for your Bayeux scarf, Fifi!!

Congratulattions! Beautiful colors. I am so sorry to hear that awful story about your MIL-- what a terrible violation of trust and loss during a vulnerable time.

Gorgeous @SusieAugusta-- sisters on Venice and Napoleon and love the others. I just bought a Carnaval de Venise for my dear New Orleans parade "sister" (we used to ride together in an all female night time Krewe during Mardi Gras!) so it is a design I love and relate to! Your blue Napoleon is TDF.
Dear LKBNOLA, thank you!

How very nice to be your scarf-sister! :hugs:I have two cws of Carnaval and love them both.

Très chic coordinated, Agrume!

Twin and sisters on your beauties, Susie!

Thank you, LKBNOLA ... I believe Zouaves is available in the F/W collection.

Hi there, sister!
