I have a Diane also, do you think that this is redundant or do you think this is different? Because that's my debate about keeping it too.
I don’t think it’s redundant but they are similar in style. I guess if you like the diane you may like the saumur and go for similar styles. I sold my original bumbag and not interested in the newer bags coming out so this is a nice alternative. I use my Diane a lot but sometimes don’t need the room so the saumur would be a nice alternative for a smaller bag. I have no problem keeping both…
Love love the Diane I like saumur and I also love the chantilly and it's so funny they are remaking all of them! I actually got a vintage St Cloud not to long ago from 1992! Thank you for your point of view! My saumur bb is competing against the high rise.
I passed on the Chantilly, I can’t remember why. I think it may have been small for me but loved the style and now regret it….The micro chantilly would never work for me but I hope they make it in a bigger size. I probably would get the saumur again in a bigger size as long as they don’t make openings on both sides….did you keep both the saumur and the high rise or might either go back?
I always wanted a chantilly but I agree the micro is wayyyy to small. I actually bought a vintage Saumur a few years ago and had it all redone but I sold it bc it was to big for me and I didn't like the two sides like I though thought I would. I heard they will be coming out in the MM and Gm size but I didn't see PM- I like the Bb size so cute with the top handle. I've always loved the look of the vintage and I feel like if I didn't just buy the Saint cloud, maybe my feelings would be a little bit different but I also feel like my mind changes every day the Saumur would def be good in the long run bc it's a classic. I haven't decided yet lol constantly flip-flop
Saumur with Rosalie, romy, card holder, mirror, file, knife and phone in back. You are able to get stuff in and out easy not a tight fit. Shape of bag does not change.

So I just realized what it is that I don't like and I think that it's bc the vanchetta strap is thicker then I would like. I did try on my thinner straps except it won't clasp over because it's too thick. I am going to try and see if I can get another strap made with a bigger d link. Favorite strap is perfect width for me ... hmmmm

I want this bag esp so I can share the strap with my speedy 20 ! But if it can't hold at least sunglasses I'm thinking no

Thank you for this. I’m gonna keep the Saumur bb once I find one that isn’t so wonky in the front. Instead of getting the mini bum bag, I found this Gucci bum bag in this pretty olive/army green. By doing that, I saved $800-900 not buying the mini bum bag.
omg. Same here. I think they were crazy not doing it in empriente leather. I would prefer that over canvas.
