Sapphire & Violet Side by Side

I think Sapphire looks more like Eggplant than Violet. Someone in another thread commented that the leather was more like '04 leather and from the first photo of the CP from the front i can see what they mean, i haven't seen the new season 08 bags IRL yet though.

The leather is thick, soft and yummy. Not think, wrinkly leather at all. I can't wait for more!

To me, it seems like Sapphire has a bit more blue in it? I agree that it's almost closer to Eggplant than Violet. I love the comparison with Ink!!

THank you for the comparison pics. MMM I really like the saphire because it is a little more muted and a little darker. It is what I was hoping for. I didn't like the violet so much as it seemed to scream purple and the saphire seems to say, royal purple. I liiiike it............
