Saks MPAs are major lines of credit. Someone who gets approved for $2000 on a saks card could get $20000 on a MPA. It is for furs, jewelry, and Chanel all year round, but it was everything in the store 12 months interest free for about a month before christmas.

If your saks credit limit is too low, you can call and have it raised. When you open card, you can immediately open a MPA, but it is considered another account, and you don't get the first day 10% then. You can use that 10% when you use your actual saks account for the first time no matter how long after.

Hi Steven, can a non-us resident apply for this type of account (I am from Canada). Also, does Saks Chanel ship to Canada??

I am from Canada and I have a saks regular acct and an MPA. I applied for both 7 yrs ago. I take advantage of the MPA every year (every December) since its interest free for a year with a minimun of $2,000 purchased.

Do i have to go into the Saks store to open a MPA? I already have a Saks First card..

Hi,

Any of you open a MPA at your local Saks and then purchase from a different SA outside of your state? I kinda feel bad for that.
Also do we earn points on the MPA account?

Is it 6 months no interest all year round?

Yes I do this all the time since I use a sa in boston and I love in New York- you earn the same points on the mpa as you would on a saks card - I've accumulated 1900 in a gc from my points on bags this past year- it is 6 month all year but 12 on special events
