I only ever receive the 10% codes which isn't a hit in my opinion. So I haven't posted them, If anyone wants them please let me know so that I can post them. I feel that most are searching for anyone who has 15% / 20% promo codes. The only thing that doesn't make sense is when someone will post their 20% promo codes at 11:30 pm when the codes expires at 12pm midnight not sure if it's a time difference thing. I try to post my codes for Bloomies and saks on the day that I receive them so that others can take advantage of them as well.

I was wondering about that too. I noticed that I was only receiving 10% and 15% codes in my inbox at the same time others were receiving the 20% off. Anyone know the reason?
My guess would be that they think they'll use it but realize they won't and want to give someone else the chance.
I assume you are referring to my 11:30pm 20% off code post. I have been meaning to post the code for 2 days and simply forgot. When I remembered it was the last hour, but I still posted figuring someone may get the chance to use it.
I myself do alot of online shopping late at nite. While doing so I often pop over here late@nite to check for codes. And believe it or not I have found codes that expire that day and have used them within minutes of expiration on a few occasions. Therefore, being as though there are no rules as to what time you post and/or how many codes you post....I figure it would be ok in posting my code so late in the day, no harm intended.

Also, there is no rule that people say "when a code has been used"....this thread has always been first come, first served. If you try the code and it doesnt work, simply means someone beat you to it.
Personally I find the open "first come, first served" vibe to be refreshing. You either find a code or you dont. No waiting around hoping someone answers your PM. You either get the code or you dont.

First of all my response was to the member that I directly quoted - it was not to you and it was not to anyone else that might have a code.
Second - I know there is no rule, and I did not suggest that such a rule existed. I said that it would be great if people mentioned that a code was used. It seems polite and courteous enough that someone would do that. I'm not sure how my suggestion was translated as a rule.
Lastly - I agree, the first come, first served vibe is refreshing, but that doesn't negate my earlier point with respect to members saying if a code is used.

And your comment was not translated to a "rule". I just wasn't sure if you were aware that no one has to PM anyone or say when a code was used or even say thanks to appease anyone. That is not the intent of this thread. You can can go back pages and pages until you get to page 1. You will see people just pop in codes and keep moving along. Some folks say thanks once they use a code, others dont. Some say when a code was used, others do not.
All in personal preference. I say the above to say I think the thread works fine as is, you either get the code or you dont. Such is life nothing is guaranteed, simple as that.

Good Afternoon, I meant no shade directed at you and sorry if you took it as such. I have noticed in the past many posters doing it. I am a mom who needs to get up at 4:30am daily and doesn't shop online at night and to be honest If you and others on here shop 1/2 hour before the code expires then good for you. Glad that you are able to use it to your advantage because it's your code and you can do whatever you wish with it.
Just giving my point of view on it because I am sure others would appreciate the courtesy of not having to wait a few hours before the code expires before being able to use it. Again just saying.
