Saddle Bag 35?

I've been searching for this pic forever! I bought the medium cornflower (inside is amber-yellow-ish, as well as edging). I'm trying to decide if I should monogram in the same color - or go with a contrasting color, like they've done on this screenshot.
Any thoughts?

Personal preference obviously, but I would do same color.

I just ended a chat with a specialist and I was given these measurements for the 3 Saddlebag styles

37535 -Glovetan Lthr Saddle Bag 23 9.00 in x 7.75 in x 2.75 in

37200 - Glovetan Lthr Saddle Bag 11.00 in x 9.75 in x 3.25 in

36826 -Glovetan Lthr Saddle Bag 35 13.50 in x 12.50 in x 4.25 in

Someone earlier suggested that the 35 is similar in size to the Mercer Postman bag (71187). It's actually considerably smaller as that bag measured 20 1/4" (L) x 14 1/4" (H) x 5" (W)

The main reason for the chat was to ask when they would be re-released but she couldn't say. Just that there would be many options for styles and colors in the spring 2016 release.

I. MUST. HAVE. THIS. BAG!

For those that already have it, is it safe to assume that the bottom and sides are somewhat rigid and this it will hold it's shape?

If you go with a blind embossing, you won't have to deal with the paint cracking. I got mine fixed and it looks good now. But eventually it will get worse with normal wear n tear.

Thanks for the thought. I didn't realize you got yours fixed.... I hope you're happier with it now. Still curious if they sealed it... as I said, the expert monogrammer in my flagship said if it's done properly, it should be sealed.

I'm starting to like the idea of just embossing - I think it will still stand out. Will post a picture when I decide what to do.

Thanks for this! I also must have this bag just can't decide on size

I asked about this sealing process when I went to have to monogramming redone. The monogramming specialist? said he just added a few more layers of color... There was no extra layer of sealant. Anyway, I am happy with the result now. :smile1:

Good to know they can add more color to the monogram. Not sure if you're asking about the so-called "specialist" (expert) - Apparently they sent someone (in my FP it was one of the managers) to JAX - and trained them in doing these new, much bigger monograms - that required the new machines - In turn, this person had to train everyone in their store.

I love how yours is done! I think the personalizing adds so much to the bags. Infact, I have a cognac stewardess bag (and ashamed to say it's been sitting here with the tag still attached - probably 3-4 years? - when they first re-released the heavier leather).....I think I'll take it in for them to practice on.

Thank you. [emoji4] Lol @ the practice on comment. Sad but so true! Look forward to seeing your monogramming.

I know I posted a while ago, but I just checked out the new men's Metro Courier and the Saddle 35 is actually SMALLER than this size! I was hoping maybe someone now has some mod shots of theirs? Fingers crossed and TIA!

I tried on the medium this weekend and it's too small to carry my everyday items. Ordered the large. Unless the listed measurements are way off this bag is smaller than a lot of the bags you guys carry.
I bought two of the large. I haven't carried it yet but I like them both. I also bought a medium and returned it because it was too small. I like big bags. Here's a couple of pictures comparing the large to the medium. Hope this helps. I don't have any mod shots. View attachment 3182813View attachment 3182814
