Gorgeous Letizia looks wonderful! My nitpick is the eye makeup is a little goth with such red lips and black lace. She looks

Leti does look beautiful and also a bit goth. What's that face she is making in the photo on the left of the second row? Always curious to know what she and Felipe are discussing. Her seldom-seen brooch is the real eye-catcher.

I wonder if some royals have duplicate tiaras made of lightweight materials in order to avoid the neck and head pain....ya kno, really good fakes...jeweler are amazing these days. How else could QE wear one?

Great pix! Thanks so much! Pearls and diamonds are my favorite look and this tiara is just stunning! It isn't even too much with the earrings. I love how these ladies can pull off this much jewelry together at the same time. It is a special talent!:smile1:

I love tiaras full stop but this diamonds and pearls one and the rest of the jewels (the bow brooch droool!) on Maxima is absolutely TDF!! I will take the whole set to my desert island!

Certainly, Max's jewels are extraordinarily beautiful, but what strikes me is how much Masako's face lights up with Max. Clearly, Max brings out Masako's best qualities....which is exactly what a queen should do. It's so much more than jewels, hair, makeup and clothes,,,there needs to be a sincere and deep connection. It takes a special person and personality to do that...Max is that rare bird.

That said, Ms Piggy, is it ok to join you on that island with QE's brooches and necklaces?

Agree about Max. I get the sense she is a woman of the world (worked and had her own life before marrying) and yet exudes a sense of joy and passion for her current role. She is clearly very comfortable in her own skin. Her confidence is infectious.

Everyone is welcome to the desert island. The more the merrier and we can swop jewels too! ;)
