Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh hosted a reunion reception for the Victoria and George Cross Association at Buckingham Palace this evening.

Pretty in pink and I love the Williamson pink diamond brooch.

QE...gotta love that brooch. Gosh, she still looks healthy and happy. Just amazing. Wait,,,what is she drinking? It coordinates with her dress and looks yummy. An elixir ?

Rania...she looks great, though very thin. The other lady looks good, too.

King WA and Queen Maxima make their introductory state visit to Japan. Their Majesties were greeted by Emperor Akihito, Empress Michiko and the Crown Prince couple. Masako wore orange as a sign of the friendship and respect for the Dutch royal couple. Masako made a very rare appearance at the inauguration of the Dutch King and Queen 2 years ago. Beyond fashion and style, that's the true measure of the asset of having Maxima as Queen Consort.

The 2 ladies in the exact same shade of orange is a bit unfortunate but Masako makes such rare appearances that I can't be too tough.
Maxima looks smashing as she usually does when meeting other heads of state. That silhouette is incredibly flattering.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia welcome the President and First Lady of Chili today.

I've never been a fan of this suit. It's too matronly/mother-of-the-bride IMO.

CP Victoria and Prince Daniel attended a dinner hosted by the President and First Lady of Estonia last night.

Pregnancy peculation is rife in the Swedish press these days. A telltale sign could be Vic's choice of boxy dresses of late. Regardless of whether its flattering or not this dress gets a no from me.The fringe-y dress is cute but the dark hose and severe bun takes the fun out of this look. This is
a time when I agree with those who say she needs to do something different with her hair.

I love how everyone is coordinated with the orange. Makes for very cohesive, and therefore more memorable, photos.

I love Maxima's dress, and the gold shoes are a nice touch!

The hat is fine, because it goes so well with the pleats. A great deal of thought has been put into this outfit and it shows.

Oh the Jealousy! Victoria is wearing a dress from Baum und Pferdgarten...I want it...ahhh!

Although, it kinda makes her look big around the middle? Is there something she wants to tell us...? Especially after that purple cocoon coat?

Sorry for the triple posts, I was writing about the orange outfit and then new photos popped up!

Leti...Her grey platform shoes are too heavy, they need to be more delicate.

I feel like the entire outfit 'drags' downwards...the beading...the pleats...the platform. I think a higher, more delicate shoe would solve the problem...but then she would be in so much pain walking.

Considering how often these women are out and about, wearing a different outfit each time, they are all doing a spectacular job. I feel so nit picky looking for flaws. I do it not to criticize them but so that I can learn and get the best outfits with my own limited funds.
