Hi all, what do you think about Rouge Sellier? Is it a color that's hard to carry? For those who own bags or SLGs in this color, what are your thoughts? TIA!

This makes me drool!!!
NiceIn Evercolor. It's such an interesting color, and I haven't tried pairing it yet, but in my mind it's going to work with browns of course but also navy, green, camel, etc. For me it will fit where black isn't perfect. IMO Rouge Sellier is much browner than Prune or Rouge H, and I have bags in both those colors (also amazing colors, but more purple and MUCH more red respectively). @duna that color in Clemence is amaaaaaaaazing

It looks very brown from this picture! Thanks for sharing@lemontart yes you need to see it in real life!
Here's my Silk'n wallet in Epsom....sometimes it looks brown, sometimes dark purple depends on lighting.

It looks beautiful in Clemence! It's one of my all time favourite H colours! I have a Clemence Bolide in RS and I love it bits. Browns, and RS to me looks more brown than red, are my favourite bag colours. I wear pretty neutral colours: jeans mostly with dark blues, browns, greys....RS goes with everything in my wardrobe. Great with black although I don't wear black, but most people do. Here's a pic, sorry about the size!

Yes, it could be called a very dark burgundy, but more a very dark oxblood. To me this color is exactly like certain dye lots of Rouge H that were very brown, around 2016-2018 or so - but darker. Or to put it better, like taking the brown era of Rouge H and darkening it by a few shades.Nice! Would you say it is close to burgundy?
Completely agree. I have both RH and Prune in clemence and still gave some thought to Sellier. It’s gorgeous, a great option in the search for ‘not black’.I don't get plum (Prune) cooler or RH warmer (slightly more yellow making it a red-brown - was of course a traditional saddle colour) which are comparable. It's a proper dark, dark red and therefore neutral IMO, extra beautiful in Clemence. The hardware will make the difference as to whether a bag lends itself to a 'cool' or 'warm' wardrobe. It is dark though.
