haha how many bags do you bring when you are travelling for 16 days or more? for me i bring 2 bags, 1 for everyday usually kelly and 1 clutch either kp or kcut for every dinners. umm and i dont run nor walk when i am travelling haha i stroll away ..
Chances are higher if you go through the option of preloved to obtain a Rouge Garrance. At this stage, stock orders for Rouge Casaque are higher in demand and you'd have a better chance in securing a RC. Nevertheless, if RG is the red that you would like, talk with your SA and SM. All it takes is the approval of HQ. I don't need anymore red B at this stage. I do like RC in slg.
it is true that it is so difficult to get RC that even I want to be in the waiting list is difficult. I have been in the waiting list of RG for nearly one year,but there is not any news for me.
I agree with loveaddict. to me RG is like a classic true red while RC looks like a pop of bright red. I think the picture by purseinsanity is a rather 'orangy' RG. here is mine which I think should reflect a truer colour of RG. HTH.
You're absolutely right Tartine! My picture is not the best representation of what my RG looks like IRL. It is way too orange-y in the picture. RG is a true red, and for a girl like me, who's not a red person at all, I still fell in love with it. It certainly draws attention, but is not nearly "in your face" as RC. Both are beautiful though.
IMO RG is a classic true red and RC is a fun, bright red. It depends on what kind of red you are looking for. Something that just pops or something that pops yet subtle. I hope I'm making sense here. 
Availability wise... you'll just never know with Hermes. I don't think one is easier to find than the other. Unless you're considering resellers then I agree with IFFAH, RG is "easier" to find. GL!

IMHO, Rouge Garance, Rouge Casaque, Rouge Vif are very close. Even Vermillon in some leathers (Chevre and Swift).
If you need a true bright red ,all those reds will make the Job. You can have a preference for one or another color, but at the end of the day, they are more similar than different from each other if I may say so...

I love both RED but if can only choose one, my heart still goes to RG as I'm more into true red and can be an everyday bag IMO.......

Hi Canger, I am new to TPF but not so much to H. My one and only (so far but I am working on my next one) is a RG 35 B in clemence with PHW. From 2008 with stamp L. Guess I was lucky in 2008 only had to wait 2 months. I love her dearly. I can wear jeans, beige, brown, black and always a pop of color. From the pictures I personally don't love the contrast stitching on the RC, but I can see how some people would love it. I'm sorry to hear it is even harder to get now. It is easy for me to tell you to wait for the RG, but waiting is not easy for me either. I want my 2nd B right NOW. Problem is Im not sure which color yet. Anyway very good luck it was and is the perfect color for my first B.
