Rosegold Hardware tarnishing?

I had tarnishing on my rose gold birkin. The polishing cloth removed most of it, but it keeps coming back in specs. It makes me a little sad
I also noticed that the buckle that is uncovered has faded to less pink while the turn lock plate that is usually fully covered during storage is still pink.

I will just use the bag and love it and I guess one day will have to spa the bag… maybe change the metal plates ‍

I have now declined anything in rose gold. It doesn’t happen on any gold or palladium hardware items

Yes they can replace it, but I chose not to and polished my C hardware myself. I'm not exactly sure if they would polish it at spa and didn't ask.
