Rolex rose gold & steel w/ diamond markers - should I get a lady-size or mid-size?

However, one of the Sales said that it's just a trend and may go away one day (I mean to keep my expensive watches forever). He said that Rolex for ladies are meant to be small.

I do think it is important not to buy anything just because it is what everyone else is buying. You have to love it. I have been wearing big watches for years and just like how they look on me. I don't care whether tomorrow the trend swings back to teeny tiny watches.

Good luck!

NEWBVfan:
Just wanted to check back in and see what you decided to get. I was having this same dilemma. I have tiny wrists and when I tried on the midsize, it was way too big for me. The face alone took up my entire wrist. So I ended up ordering the rose gold and steel datejust in the ladies size with the silver jubilee face and diamond markers. I have to wait about 2 weeks for it and I am so excited. Anyway, just wondering what you decided.

I love mid-size. I have a very petite wrist so the mid-size is just right for me. The lady-size is too small, I don't like small watches-only for fancy occasions and anything above 31mm just looks too trendy and big on me. Midsize is perfect because its big enough to look great without being masculine but small enough to transition into evening or for a more elegant look.

I have 4 Rolexes, 2 mid size and 2 ladies' size. Although I have very small wrists, I do prefer the midsize, as long as the bracelet is not too loose (it ruins the watch).Mid size for a woman just feels more modern right now (but tastes can change).

I just ordered the all stainless, jubliee bracelet, black MOP w/ diiamond markers. My other Rolex is yellow/stainless ladies size.

The variety of styles to choose from in mid-size tells me, it's not a trend, but a new classic for Rolex.

My wrists are 5 inches and I love my midsize. I have a jubilee bracelet and the only problem (which isn't that big of a deal) but the newer hidden clasp has the closing piece concealed and is a tiny bit unbalanced when on (hard to explain but when the clasp is closed the bracelet does not make an even circle) because they had to take so many links out to make the watch fit me. I don't think the same thing would occur with the oyster bracelet since it's not the hidden clasp. Again, doesn't stop me from loving the watch but it's something to be aware of if your wrists are as small as mine. I still wouldn't trade it for the lady's....
