Rolex or Diamonds?

Diamonds but something else, bracelet or if you're eyeing the eternity band, I think it's a nice addition to what you have right now.

I'd have to agree with the above posters. Not another watch, no upgrade of diamond especially since you have a sizeable diamond and wear with a sizeable eternity. The Love bangle would be an awesome addition or other diamond bangles, etc. Good Luck with your decision and what a great Mother's Day gift!!

I knew that I could count on you all for wonderful feedback and advice...thank you.

I have put the money in a separate "Lulu" account and will not go into this with haste, I really want to have fun and enjoy the process. Husband even mentioned, "How about a big pear drop on a DBTY necklace?" Definitely something to consider.

The Cartier Pave Love bracelet does not have the screws, I suppose for easy on and off. It is definitely a work of art...the pave work is just amazing...I'm just not sure that it's me. I had a tennis bracelet once and I exchanged it for an eternity band and I haven't really missed it.

When I see it, I will just know...it will feel right and I won't think twice about it. I will just get it.

I will keep you all posted. Thank you again for your help.

I'd upgrade the ring. You have enough fine watches. I got my Rolex 5 yrs. ago and I wear it daily.I can't even justify buying another watch when I have my Rolex. It goes with everything. My mother gave me her gorgeous and very expensive diamond tennis bracelet. I feel like a million bucks whenever I wear it. Just knowing its 'real' makes me feel very 'dressy' whenever I have it on. Diamonds for sure!

id say go for another piece of jewelry since you already have a nice watch collection and your ring actually sounds awesome already.. maybe a tennis bracelet or studs?

Small update:

I decided to upgrade my diamond and turn my 3 stone into a larger solitaire (not completely sold as I haven't had a solitaire in a very long time but that is the plan for now). I called my jeweler yesterday afternoon and asked her to bring in rounds in the 4 carat + range. With my budget and my trade-in I am not optimistic that I will be able to stay in the color/cut range of my current stone, but I am keen to see what is out there. My hope is H-I / VS2, SI1.

I will keep you posted. Thank you again for your feedback, I appreciate it
