I know similar questions have been asked... I am sorry. I just keep changing my mind. Would you get (all preloved) Rolex, Hermes Kelly, Cartier love bracelet. For reference I don't own a watch or anything Hermes or Cartier. Thank you so much for your help. I can only get one.

I'm a BIG Hermes fan - however - I do feel that a nice watch is an excellent staple for anyone to own - particularly if it's gold.

My thought on the Cartier is that it should be given to you buy someone you love, to either celebrate your love, or a special occasion. Yes, it has become a fashion piece, but, perhaps save the Cartier for a special occasion?

It's much easier to get a good deal on preloved Cartier and Rolexes, however, it's a toss-up with preloved Hermes. There are plenty of things to look for, and there is plenty of advice about this in the Hermes sub-forum.

Would the Kelly be something you would feel comfortable wearing regularly? I imagine the Rolex or the Cartier might ... Something else to consider.

Also consider - you'll probably end up buying all of the above over the next few years (I understand your dilemma all too well [emoji6]) ... What can wait? What does your heart of hearts yearn for?

Thank you. You are right about the love bracelet. I have learned my husband would never go and do something like that on his own. When I want something it's just best to get it. I spent years where I didn't buy anything and just waited for gifts and one day woke up and realized that was silly. The same amount of money was getting spent but on things I never really wanted and I would never get what I did want. So I'll skip the love. As for the Rolex vs the Kelly. I am torn. I feel I should probably get the Kelly. I have spent a lot of time researching. However the Rolex can be worn all the time and I can just glance down and admire it. I know these aren't real problems but I probably won't get the other for a while because in a short time we will have to start paying for college for my oldest so I wont be doing an frivolous spending for a while.

I totally get it! I'm glad you're take things into your own hands now! If the funds are there now - get yourself something to enjoy, admire, and make yourself feel special!

Whatever you choose to do - please, please, please make sure you're taking all the precautions to protect yourself from buying a fake / something not as described. I've had great experiences buying "preloved" but others on this forum have not.

On a lighter note, what kind of Kelly / Rolex do you have in mind? [emoji4]

Difficult decision between Kelly and Rolex because like you, I love beautiful handbags and watches. I vote for Rolex because you can use it daily. But something to consider - can you purchase the kelly now and suggest the rolex to your husband as an future gift in place of other smaller gifts?

Rolex.....such a timeless classic you can wear forever....also, I dont feel you should wait for a special ocassion for the love brcelet....if you love something, just get it.......;)

Rolex because you can wear it all the time. BUT, I have a Rolex and a Love and I don't think it's necessary that you be "gifted" a Love. If you love it, get it. I haven't taken mine off in the 2 1/2 years I've owned and couldn't be happier with it. I think you can't go wrong with a Love or Rolex...but I'd skip the bag since the jewelry can be worn all the time.
