Most people pair the fluted bezel with the jubilee band, and the domed bezel with the oyster band. The oyster band is considered a bit more sporty. The jubilee is probably more strongly associated with the Rolex brand. I know a lady who has a ladies size jubilee in all stainless with a silver dial and the domed bezel, though, and her watch is stunning. The fluted bezel is ALWAYS gold, either white or yellow, and the domed bezel on a stainless will also be stainless, but can be gold in a two-tone model. I think the fluted probably is a bit more "blingy" because of the way it refracts light, but it also is less prone to visible scratches/marks because it is not smooth.
