It's on its way, so I should be getting it some time next week! I'll have to get it sized, and hope that won't be a big deal, as my wrists are fairly small.

They run from $6K to $7 or $8K, depending on the jeweler. There's one with a green crystal that's more (I think), and the vintage ones from the 1950's are more, too. That's just a ballpark figure.

-Thanks, Royal! I just love this watch! I may have to sell a couple of Hermes bags!

By green crystal, I looked on the website ans there pics of one with a black dial that has what looks like a green ring around the edge - is that the one you refer to?

Do the markers illuminate on the Milgauss?

I have started buying men's Rolex because as I get older I can't read the ladies size and in some dial colors, even have a hard time with the mid-size:

Is the one you bought seem really easy to read? Like for a 50-something who needs bifocals? ;)

It seems like it would be. What do you think about the black in tat respect?

There is only one AD in my small city and they have very little inventory to look at...

Once I get it, I'll let you know! I would think it's easy to read, since it's 40mm, which is a good size. It's larger than my Pearlmaster, and I have no trouble reading that.
