I think that watch is gorgeous and would be a great addition to your collection. That being said if it doesn’t make your heart sing I wouldn’t buy it just for the good price. Your overall style would make it tacky or refined and I suspect the latter. Pair it with neutrals and it’s a showstopper

Finally i had to make a decision. After getting very divided reactions here, as well as from friends with whom I discussed it, I don't feel ready to buy. Whether not yet ready, or no longer ready or not ready at the moment, I don't even know. I think if I'm sure whether I want one or not, there will for sure come another opportunity, but at the moment it doesn't feel right. Sorry folks, no pics to share for now, let´s see what comes next.

Darn, really wanted to see a mod shot.

I'm just a plain 2-tone Rolex gal but loved that watch (which I did not know existed until I stumbled on this thread while eating my pancakes).

Hi!

It's an incredible watch. Eye candy: https://monochrome-watches.com/rolex-daytona-rainbow-everose-116595rbow-review-price/

Now the fact that it was offered at a very, very interesting price debunks the "investment piece" myth. It's a watch that is hard to sell, and the seller is still getting a cut from that "very, very interesting" price. ;)

The rose gold is actually a real perk. It makes that watch wearable because it's so "tame" in appearance compared to the stones. Especially in comparison to the older models, it's definitely less flashy and in your face. Did I say I love it's appearance?

Don't worry about the fakes or aftermarket modifications. True connoisseurs will know, anybody else's opinion doesn't matter. The way Rolex choses and sets diamonds is more or less unmatched.

But yes, overall I agree, you need to love that watch & wear it - otherwise it's just unnecessary ballast.

But damn, did I say it's a damn hot watch?

Kind regards,
Oliver
Thank you for the link, lovely watch imo.

Well, I would have liked to see it on my wrist too. Thanks to Corona, that was not possible. One of the reasons why I didn't buy it.
