I have both the Rolex (without the diamonds) and the JLC which I LOVE. If I had to choose one hands down it would be the JLC. It is a gorgeous and runs really reliably. And it makes a lovely swooshing sound from the rotating bit at the back when you move the watch close to your ear. And I love the see-through back as well. View attachment 2378178

I bought it in Asia from an AD and was able to get around 25% off if I remember correctly. But it took months to find one that would give more than the customary 5-10%.

I Love the see through back as well. So i now im in the hunt down for a AD dealer that can give me a good discount.

I dont really wear a lot other jewleries. I just change my earings all time. I been wearing the same necklace and ring for a long time. But i agree with you the datejust with diamond bezels look very stunning in real life too. if money isnt an issue. I'll get both.

ok. I was try to go to the store today.but i was too bz shopping at saks buying shoes. Didnt know the store close at 5. I will try to go another day. And see if they can give me a better discount if i offer to pay in cash or check. And i'll keep you updated. :D

Hi, I was also thinking about a JLC rendezvous 29 mm vs. rolex datejust 31 mm, and decided that the JLC more elegantly fit my small wrist (laid much flatter and smoother than the rolex, which was much bulkier). Did you ever find a NYC B&M store than sold the JLC at a better discount than Wempe? I checked out Tourneau - they don't give discounts but do offer a 5 year warranty vs. 2 years from JLC.

Hi Sorry just saw ur msg now..But did you end up getting your watch already??
Leonardo in NJ actually offers much better discount den Wempe
