My understanding is that Rolex has discontinued this clasp for the 36 and so they can’t/won’t change the current clasp style out for the older hidden one, unfortunately. But I have not specifically asked them this myself, so someone please correct me if I’m wrong!

This is correct. Rolex will not change out the current clasp for the super jubilee (hidden clasp). The clasp is still on the Day Date and the smaller DJs. However many seem to find the super jubilee less comfortable due to the lack of micro adjustment in this bracelet. I agree that it's beautiful and more feminine.

Thank you for confirming! I’ve heard the same thing re: the lack of micro adjustment impacting comfort; I think it would be nice if buyers were given the option to choose their preferred clasp when configuring their dream watch. But that may just be wishful thinking. 🤭

Beautiful! 😍 Yes, the clasp is the deciding factor for me on my 2nd one, too. Have been debating between the 31 and 36 for months now, but I don’t love the “striped” version of the current fold-over clasp, so I will stick with the 31. I think they will bring the hidden clasp back one day for the 36 DJ, but TBD I guess!
