So pretty! Is this a 3 or 4 prong? And do you wear it 24/7 (ie: sleep, gym, shower)? Does it get in the way if your hair or is it pretty low maintenance? Anything you would change about your decision?
No, I don’t wear it 24/7. But occasionally if I put it on, I keep it on for a few days and sleep/shower etc with it. I wear it about once or so every 2-3 weeks.

It’s pretty low maintenance and it’s 3 prong.

If I could go back in time, I would’ve gotten the 16” because I lost weight so it hangs off my neck lower now.

One thing I’m glad I didn’t settle on was getting it made in 18k. Spending this much, I wanted a more precious metal. HTH!

Hi everybody,

At the moment i am on vacation in Miami. I just bought a 5 carat alternating diamond necklace from bluenile it was around 5k(it was on sale) but now i am having second thoughts because i saw that James Allen has classic lab diamond necklases around the same price but then you have a 7 carat. Which one will give more sparkle the alternating one or a classic tennis necklace?

I’m not a fan of lab created but I know others are. 2 carat difference in a necklace probably isn’t very visible. Look at the number of stones in each to compare. I’ve seen 5 carat bracelets that look like a 3 carat bracelet because of the individual stone size.
Agreed, more carat doesn't mean bigger. Also, classic tennis will flip a lot compared to this style that you have.

This is the alternating one

Beautiful and unique! Another vote to stick with mined rather than lab for this type of purchase. I don’t think lab will hold much value long-term and I personally regard jewellery of this type as an investment (I am not using the word investment in terms of future resale as we all know most jewellery depreciates in value over time, but if something is costing me a lot of money and certainly - for me - anything over £1k I want to feel that it won’t be worth next to nothing further down the line).

I understand what you say, but personally i prefer lab over naturel diamonds. Just don’t know which setting will give the most spark. And which one will twist more.
