Hi all -

Purchased this a few days ago from Macy's and posted about it in the "closer look at fall" thread. I said I'd post pictures when I figured out how so here goes...hope they show up!

A few days into using this bag and I really do love it. I am still a bit leery about the orange. I love the contrast in color but I feel that the orange limits what I can wear it with. I wish upon a wish that they come out with this in an all black version (maybe suede with glove tanned...pretty please?)...the organization, IMO, is what makes this bag. The little knot detail that I found unsightly at first has flattened out and I barely notice it now. I'm hoping when the weather cools and I'm wearing mostly black jackets, it will provide the freedom to wear it more often than I do with my summer duds.

That is so cute! Wow, there are a lot of pockets! I wish they had made this in some other color options too, but I like that orange. I've tried to stop myself from buying colorblocked items because it makes it hard to match clothing. Not so much when one of the colors is black, I think. I'm really interested in the biker rip and repair, with burgundy.

Yes, I was interested in that one as well, but I think the dimensions are the same as the Shadow cross body which was sadly, too small for me to really settle into.

I think you are right, it is too small. All those pockets in a small bag just make it have that much less usable space.

Thanks so much for posting the pics. It looks much better than it does on the Coach website. It is really cute and I love love all the pockets. I like that it has a turnlock closure so it's more secure than the Dakotah. I can't remember if there is any orange in the back but the Orange (or rather "ginger") seems pretty subtle in the front. I wish they had made it in a few different color combos for this size like black/black cherry or black/racing green. I don't usually do colorblock purses but this one caught my eye -- I can't wait to get mine on Thursday. thanks again for the great pics.

There is no orange (and you are right, ginger is a better color word choice!) on the back of the bag. It goes along that front and underneath, up the sides. What you can't tell is that there is also a slip pocket behind the zip pouch at the very front of the underside of the bag. I love the turn lock closure as well and that the slip pocket in the back is snap-less but secure!

Please tell us what you think when you get it!

Beautiful bag!

The many compartments are great! But is the main compartment big enough to fit a full-size wallet and sunglasses case?
I have a Brighton full size tri fold wallet in that section of mine. IMO, their wallets hold a ton more stuff than an accordian zip around & its thinner than those. If you had a sunglass case that is thinner, like say aviators, it may work. I have large Prada plastic "Jackie O" sunglasses (as my husband calls them :-) & I know they would NOT fit comfortably. That said, I think it depends on how full the other pockets are. For me, in the front underneath zip pocket, I keep my company ID badge; there is a slip pocket behind that where I keep receipts or coupons; 1st full lenth opening I keep my keys & small pill holder; main compartent is for my wallett; back pocket behind main pocket I keep a pack of tissues & a small cosmetic bag. Back exterior slip pocket my phone. All of that is in the purse in one of the photos I posted & you cant see any of it, so I have room to spare.
So, a long answer to a short question is that, depending on what you carry & where you put it, I think you have a ton of options. Sorry for being so long-winded, but I know I really appreciate the detailed answers others have oisted that have helped me make decisions.
Have a great weekend!
