I am looking for a ring to wear on either the index finger or middle finger on my right hand. I currently wear a VCA VA pave pendant with a single bangle (either Perlee clover bangle or Perlee signature bangle) on my left hand when I go out. On days I am at home (work from home or on wkn), I wear a single bangle. I do not have any rings now. I have tried a few rings but still undecided.

1. T&Co sixteen stones ring. This one has always been in my mind as the design is very classic and timeless. But when I tried it in store, I was not wowed by it. It seems to be a bit dull and not as blingy as I imagined. But it is still in my radar. Not sure should I give it another try?

2. VCA Perlee diamond rings (single row and 3 rows). Should I get the ring from VCA so that they co-ordinate better with my pendant and bangles? The Perlee diamond rings design are also very classic and timeless. But when I tried them, it is not love at first sight. But I think I'm ok to get one.

3. VCA sweet clover ring. Should I get the ring from VCA so that they co-ordinate better with the pendant and bangles? I am a bit concerned that it is too matchy with the clover bangle.

4. Cartier panthère rings. My heart skipped a beat when I tried them on. They are so lovely and blingy. The one that caught my eye is the half pave ring. But I am hesitant as I am worried that I will regret not getting the full pave later on. I am also concerned that I might get bored with animal design rings in a few years' time. The T&C and VCA ring designs are more classic and hence might be "safer" in the long run.

Which ring would you choose? I also welcome suggestions on other ring brand/designs that I should give it a try.

Thank you very much for reading my post!

None of them are very inspiring to me to be honest. Maybe a VCA lotus ring? Or a Chaumet Josephine diadema ring with a sapphire or a ruby, depends on your birthstone. Or a non designer ring with a big precious stone.
Something more with a character.
Thank you for your suggestions. I will check out the Chaumet Josephine rings.

The VCA Between the Finger rings are statement rings that I don't think I can wear to work. I have tried both the Frivole and Two Butterfly btf rings but not the lotus ring. I prefer YG to match my other pieces. I plan to wear the ring on my right hand which is my dominant hand. I feel that the btf rings are too 3-dimensional (and big) and probably will obstruct/affect my hand movement when I need to reach into my bag etc.

I like the VCA clover ring the best out of all them.
It is the slimmest and most comfortable looking out of all of them.

Especially the Tiffany 16 stone ring and VCA perlee rings look very thick and bulky. If worn on the middle finger, they’d take some getting used to because of how thick they are.

Panthere is okay? I’m not sure about it tbh.

No, trust your first instinct

No, same reason as above

I would trust your initial reaction to the half pave. If you would wear a full pave daily, I’d also give that a try. The panther is classic Cartier. ETA: for what it is worth, I think the half pave* might be a little more wearable than full pave, in that you can reverse it to be less blingy, but that’s a personal choice / judgement / budget allocation call

Be certain that you enjoy wearing a ring on your dominant hand before buying anything of course

I would also look at the bulgari serpenti line

*I personally prefer the half pave bc I like the contrast of yellow metal to bling. @CoastalCouture made the point more eloquently in her post above :)

Thank you for your suggestion. I will go and try the bulgari serpenti line as well!

Sounds like the only one you actually like is the panthere, so I’d say get that one or keep looking.

This thread is about other brands VCA lovers also wear so it might provide some good inspiration for coordinating with your VCA pieces if you’re not sure about the panthere:
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/what-other-jewelry-brands-do-you-buy-wear.1035629/

Thank you for the link. Will read thru the thread and see whether I can find any other brands to explore.

I'm uncertain on what to buy. I think I need to explore more brands/designs to be 100% sure on what I want/love.

This is probably an unpopular opinion on this forum, but I am tired of seeing the same jewelry over and over and over again. I believe that jewelry should call to you—you don’t go searching for it. When you come across something that wows you (and that could be next week or 10 years from now), then you buy it. It sounds like you don’t love any of these rings. Hopefully you’ll find something that you adore (and hopefully it will not be the same old, same old that we have seen 10,000+ times before).

If you're interested in other luxury brands that are different there are also:
- Buccellati (Opera and Marci are well known but I personally love Etoliee, Ramage, and Rombi)
- Boucheron (Quatre and Serpent Boheme lines are my favorite)
- Graff (more well known for diamond items)
- Spinelli Kicollin (a bit different, maybe more casual depending on the design and metal choice)

Not like they're not well known, but they are a lot less commonly seen and talked about.

Of the three I suggest the Cartier half-pave panthere. I have that ring and especially preferrred it over the full-pave as I feel the design is amplified by the difference of diamonds on the head vs. non diamonds on the rest of the band. Bonus, this ring is easily the most comfortable one I own. I wear it with VCA all the time, also non-panthere Cartier. If this is the one that made your heart skip a beat, all the others can be discounted.
