Absolutely lovely bag! It doesn't even look that big in the photo. Besides the rhodium hardware, the leather... oh, the leather! It's so... baggasmic! :D Can't wait for the reveal.

Well I knew from the 16 in wide measurement provided that the the bag is large. I am still wondering if the rhodium is noticeably brighter than their regular silver hardware and I just can't get anyone to tell me?? lol! I guess I will have to see for myself when it arrives. Glad you are happy with it. Where's the pic??

Stopped by Macy's today and to me and my SA it didn't really look any different. Could just be the crappy lighting of the store though. Might be more noticeable in sunlight?

Thanks for checking it out! Yes, you could be right about the lighting. I'll know more when it gets here, because most of my MK bags ar in the SHW so I can easily compare it side by side in the daylight.

My white gold wedding rings are rhodium plated....man it doesn't last long on them. I get them done TWICE a year, I could have them done once every 2 months at the rate I wear it off.
However surely the hardware on a purse is not going through the wear and tear that rings would undergo.
I have noticed a slight difference between my older handbags with the silver tone, and the new ones with rhodium, the rhodium ones are shinier!

Yes, it does specify if you read the the original and second post about Rhodium and rhodium plating, that it doesn't wear very long as jewelry and you can only clean it with a mild soap, never using any kind of silver or jewelry polish as it will eat it right off. Says to use shampoo! lol! Isn't that strange?? Might be interesting for you to read about it on the first page of this thread. Says it is perfect on things like handbags, as there is too much acid in our skin, or something like that. So what you described is not uncommon and is described in the article I posted about it. Pretty interesting. Sorry it wore of your rings. Is supposed to be very durable on handbags. Will know more this time next year! lol!

I just received mine. To be honest I can't tell the difference. Will try again tomorrow in the sun.
