What exactly do you mean by breakaway zipper? The bag doesn't have full zipper, there are gaps on either side.

Sorry, I meant a zipper that breaks apart at the end like a zipper on your jacket. Some coach totes have these zippers.
My saffiano city totes don't have a zipper like that but I wasn't sure if the new saffiano totes do.

It's not a breakaway, but it's not sewn to the end, does that make sense? You don't have to puzzle the zipper ends back together before you can close it at least.
