This is really pretty! Can you compare this to one of the recent rectangular bottomed legacy duffles? Does the round bottom make it stick out from your side like it looks on the models on coach.com? Also, do you think the round bottom holds more or less compared to the older style? Thank you!

Sorry, I never had one of the rectangular bottom ones, so I cannot compare. There is a side by side comparison of those bags, these new ones, and the vintage ones here : http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-clubhouse/2014-bleecker-duffle-clubhouse-874740.html in the 2014 Bleecker Duffle clubhouse. I do like the taper of the bag though. Everything shifts nicely instead of dumping in a pile in the bottom.

I LOVED this when I tried it on in Nordstrom. I didn't even know it was black! The lights made it shimmer - in a matte way, like a lambskin jacket. The leather seems thicker than the classic duffles as I remember. I loved the round bottom of the classic duffle but didn't buy it because of the price and leather. This one I would have bought if I needed it. I may end up with a mini though.

The round bottom of the bag is the BEST!!! Already reaping it's rewards. I had my bag sitting on the floor next to me on the train and with the train constantly stopping and speeding up, it did not fall over. I had the zipper open and was able to look inside and access all my stuff easily.

This really is a lovely duffle! Grats to you :) Do these newer duffles have the same drop as the prior ones? The rounded bottom -kind of- has me wondering because the rectangular base of the older duffles could stand out against the hip rather far.

In any case, enjoy your new bag!
