So I finally got my dream bag, the black Hamilton saffiano with gold hardware, and she is a beauty! :cool:











I was too overwhelmed with joy for the first 5 minutes, because she is really just pretty. The leather is superb, and I love the structure! :girlsigh:

Then I finally noticed this huge U-shaped dent on both its front and back.





And then I saw the inside stitches. I don't know if I'm just being too OC, but it's just too messed up looking to me. :weird: I don't know if it's apparent in these photos, though.





Thank God it's only the inside stitches. Outside, it looks okay.


Maybe I could live with those messed up stitches, but that dent! I think it happened while the bag was in transit. Maybe the courier squished it or something causing the handles to leave a mark on the bag. Please tell me that this dent will heal with use? :sad:

But oh well. She is the bag that I wanted. Guess you don't always get what you expected. Love her still. LOL this post is both a rant and a rave. :lolots:

There is! I don't know why the pics didn't upload. There was supposed to be more :/ Anyway, there's this U-shaped dent on its front and back. :'( Maybe it got squished or something while in transit, so the handles left a mark. Also, the inside stitching is horrible. :o or at least in my opinion. I will try to post the pics again later.

I think the U shape you were referring to was caused by the handle pressing on the leather during the transit. Try to stuff paper in the bag see if it helps, I bought a bag with similar problem, the seller posted it with handles down and they were pressing on the bag, I kept it for two days and it didn't come back to shape so I returned it.

Yeah I think that's what happened. I was pretty much hoping it would just disappear with use. :/

And this is how the inside stitches look like. It looks uneven and as if some of the threads are actually sticking out or something. :shucks:







Outside stitching looks good, though.

Thanks! She is really stunning. Despite all the flaws and all. :graucho:

I can't exchange nor return her anymore because I already took her out. :p Guess I just have to live with the dents.
