Still not sure what I'll use this for day to day, but I recently got back from a business trip and found it useful for stashing receipts to have them all in one place to submit for reimbursement when I got back, and so they weren't cluttering my wallet.

Hi all,

So I just can't get over how precious this wristlet is! It's literally screaming my name, especially now that F&F is on. I just have a few questions that maybe you all can help me out with.

COLOR: So I LOVE the yellow, but I'm only seeing it available at Coach itself, and not any department stores? Am I correct in that? I wish it were in penny leather as the pebbled leather dulls the color in my opinion. I wanted to go with a subtle color - black, brown, or red - but seeing it in person made me so bored! I'm leaning towards the Jade, but has anyone seen the Fuschia anywhere?

STRAP: So the biggest drawback to this case is that the chain isn't long enough to make it function as a true wristlet. Has anyone employed any DIY tricks or have any DIY ideas to rectify this? That's really the only reason I haven't purchased it yet - I can't tell whether I will be annoyed by the lack of a strap down the line. It's making me wonder whether the embossed horse & carriage l-zip is a better purchase?

I'm heading to Macy's this afternoon, so would love some input prior to then! Thanks!

Hi, the hangtag Unicase is not, IMO, a true wristlet. I have one in the teal color, and I love it because it's so cute, but it actually holds very little. I use mine to hold my iPhone 4. but it could also be used to hold receipts. a couple of cards, lipstick, etc. When I purchased this at my FP boutique, I was surprised at how tiny it was. These cases are now on sale at Macy's, but I'm not sure about all the colors. If you want a case that will hold more,you should get a larger wristlet. Hope this helps! smile1:

Nymeria, thanks for your input! When I go to the store today, I'm just gonna go with what feels right. Trust my instinct! I'm going to see if my sister's free so she can provide a second opinion. :smile1:

I have it in Jade - love the color! Yeah it would have been cool if you could actually use it as a wristlet. I find it convenient to put my phone in when I'm carrying a bag that doesn't have a pocket (or pocket too small) inside to hold my phone. I don't like my phone rattling around in my purse - plus it's easier to find.

Yes, I agree about the case keeping one more organized! I went to Macy's yesterday and was torn between the hangtag case and the wristlet in ocelot. I spent a lot of time (too much, lol) thinking it over, and then I finally decided on the case. THEN I had to choose between colors! I had been pretty set on Jade prior, but then found myself considering the Violet and the Saddle Brown as well! After several more minutes of consideration I finally decided to go with the brown. I haven't had time to unwrap it, but I will this evening and post a pic in this thread.

One funny thing was that I had my sister with me to give a second opinion. She said I should go with the ocelot wristlet, but I decided to go with the case. Then she said I should go with the Violet, but I went with the Saddle Brown. So basically I had her with me to provide input and I didn't listen to any of it, lol. But in the end I think I got what I wanted. The only thing better would've been to get the yellow, but that's only available at Coach and not department stores.

Glad to help :) One issue I've had with this case is that when you put credit cards in the slots, taking them out forces them to rub against the sharp zipper or your fingers end up being the thing that rubs up against the zipper.
