Am I correct in seeing that there is no snap, turnlock, magnetic snap, or slide closure (ala Shadow), actually holding the flap down? I've studied lots of pictures, and it looks like there's nothing like that, is that correct? It's just the short leather strap that clips across the contents?

You are correct. There is nothing holding the flap down. Just like the dakotah, only that small leather strap with a snap to hold contents together. I really like the shadow too. :graucho:

Thanks! I really like the color combos too. Tho I'm starting to think I have too many shades of dark reds. I think there is a reason for this ---> i love red bags!

You and me both! I love racing green but have yet to have a bag in that color.

That is a very beautiful bag! I love what they've done with the creed. I don't think you need worry about the lining. I don't believe linings are glued.
