Not at all - it's surprisingly light, even with the grommets.

It's considerably bigger than the reg size Legacy duffle, probably more like the large...although the grommet one is narrower at the base than the legacy. I'll post a side by side pic in a sec.

I am 5' 1" also. I will definitely need to try this on and carry it around the house a bit before I cut tags.

It didn't even ship until like 10:30pm last night and it was here today before noon. Not bad for Cedar Rapids to Phoenix, with a stop in Kentucky along the way!

I got next day air, Saturday delivery because they accidentally cancelled my order when I tried to upgrade my shipping, and it wasn't noticed until after the deadline to get it next day without the Saturday up charge. Thankfully Nordstrom CS is pretty good and they got it to me today without any extra charge because of their mistake.

I can't wait until you get yours! Mine is definitely love.
