Hi,
I purchased a Toggle Heart bracelet from Tiffany & Co direct and had them engrave it.When it arrived it was in appaling condition.Could hardly read the engraving where it had been so badly scratched in the machine.Numerous emails and phone calls,U.K.customer services didn't bother replying.I eventually wrote to Tiffany in New York, only then did i received reply from Tiffany UK.I returned the bracelet and they promised to hand engrave it.The bracelet was then returned to me with a link missing!!First one i returned had 24 links, the one they returned had 23.They couldn't explain the reason for this and just told me to send the bracelet back again. After paying over £200 i expected better from Tiffany.I bought a bracelet to wear not to keep returning to them!!
I am now wearing a bracelet that sits oddly as it has uneven number of links...i just couldn't go thru more hassle with Tiffany sending it back yet again.
I would never buy from Tiffany&Co again!!
I hope you don't have the problems with them that i had!
Opai x

wow...this is the first horrible story i've ever read about Tiffs. I'm so sorry how damaging it was to you that you'd never shop there again. Well, i wouldn't disagree with your feelings because i think i'd probably feel slightly discouraged to shop from them again even if i had been a frequent shopper there and been treated great eveytime. Sadly just one horrible experience can scar someone...:cursing:

My daughters have quite a bit of silver Tiffany jewelry and yes, their pieces did look worn/scratched pretty quickly. A silver polishing cloth from any jewelry store should shine it right up, but won't get rid of the scratches. Silver shouldn't tarnish if you wear it a lot, it's when you leave it stored for a long period of time that it tarnishes.

For those who've had problems with Tiffany, I'm surprised Tiffany doesn't just replace the faulty items with new ones. Silver is relatively cheap and Tiffany jewelry has been purposely overpriced in order to maintain the air of exclusivity, so I would think it would be cheaper for them just to replace an item than to try to correct a problem with it.

^^ im crazy suprised at all the problems!! Tiff has been wonderful for me!

Once my onyx toggle braclet was getting a little too loose because of the constant wear and as soon as my SA saw it shes like thats not right and took it from me and gave me a brand new one! What was crazy was that it was not even my normal sa, just some sweetie that was helping me when i was on vacay!!!

i puffy heart tiffanys!! :)

I have the necklace and bracelet in yellow gold and they are still good as new. I would certainly go back to the store if I were you. Looks like its called ' return to tiffany' for a reason.
