Resizing gold rings at Tiffany

OP I was about to suggest you get a ring sizer at Tiffany and see what size it is first. Anyone who wants to resize should find out the current size the ring is at, and then you can tell them what size you want it at, buy knowing what size it is at the store you plan to resize it at. There are many rings that are 7, but since each jeweler does the job, there could always be variation. When you get your ring back from the new resize, pick it up in person and size the ring on the sizer stick to see how much your ring was shrunken or upped, then try it on. If there is any problems, it can be sent back right then and there. So anal, right?

I agree! I am still undecided if I am going to leave it be or if to up size it. I am going to pop into Tiffany's after Christmas and hopefully they will be able to give me a price quote!

Ok so I got it! A few things; first off, it was a bit dull, and I was worried that when they listed the ring as well used that it meant more than a few scratches! But I was able to shine it up. I was sorta disappointed that they didn't shine it up. I don't mean an outright polish, just to buff it up with a cloth. And, I don't believe it is a 7. But I could be wrong; it didn't even make it over my knuckle, and when I was at Tiffany's last, I was able to wear a 7 off of the ring of ring sizers. So maybe they incorrectly listed the size.
On a good note, it fits my ring finger just fine, a tad loose but honestly it fits fine. Since my SS version fits my ring finger too, I am cool with that.
Besides, after looking at the ring closely, there is a lot of engraving inside and outside of the ring, and I don't see where they would be able to resize it without altering some of the engraving.
So I am just going to wear it and when I go to Tiffany's next, I will find out the actual size of this ring!

Hmm that is strange!! Hopefully you can find out the size and get it straightened out. At least it fits ONE of your fingers, that's a plus that you can wear it at least! Are you going to post any pics? I'd love to see it!

Here is the Tiffany gold ring I got from Yoogi's. I am popping down to Tiffany's today to get the ring checked. I also noticed something a little odd... When I compared it side by side to my SS version of the ring, I noticed that my SS one was a little bit wider. I didn't realize that there was that much difference from ring to ring?

It is a very comfy fit! One of my fave rings. So I brought it into Tiffany's and as I suspected, it is a 6.5! Not a 7. I inquired about how much it would cost and she quoted me $75 which didn't sound too bad. I also found out I am a 7.5 lol! Glad I got sized! I am going to wait until after the holidays and think about getting it resized.

It's gorgeous!!! I'm glad you can resize the ring, it seems difficult to do with all that engraving but I guess if anyone can do it, Tiffany can!

My SO has convinced me to not resize it, and I think I agree. I don't wanna mess with it, and it fits my ring finger perfectly.

I think that's a wise decision, especially since you can wear it on one of your fingers already! If it didn't fit at all, that's another story, but thankfully that is not your case!
