Mikimoto are abit pricey but wider choice if you get from other Reputable Jewelers near you it might be cheaper but definitely fewer selection.

There's also Wempe in Paris in case you go there before Düsseldorf. Then, you can check out both Mikimoto and Wempe.

If you're somehow heading for Switzerland, they have EXCELLENT pearls! A friend of mine is friends with a Tiffany employee who works in the pearl department and even she mentioned that pearls sold in Switzerland are really of very high quality. Plus, you'll also find Mikimoto and Schoeffel pearls here.

Yeah thanks. This particular VCA piece cost $31,900, it is considered an important investment, not something to buy for fun.

No plans for Switzerland in the next couple of months but I'll heading to Paris tomorrow night. I only stay one day but I'll try to visit one or even both stores .
