Report Mulberry Fakes

I have to say I'm astounded at how many fakes there are on Ebay. I've never bought an expensive bag there but decided to take a look today and thankfully educated myself about the fakes-thx for all the great info here. After a brief search I had already found numerous fakes. Most of the time it is with serial numbers that I can find by doing a Google images or text search for "Mulberry fake serial" .

This one has the popular fake serial # right in the listing: MULBERRY SERIAL # 026904

This is billed as 100% authentic-being sold for $800

This one I couldn't find anything on the serial # but the leather tag inside does not have the tree and the MULBERRY does not look well stamped and the tree that is on the disc is not well defined

So, I guess I will never buy a bag from Ebay. It's too bad-there are probably some real ones there but I wouldn't feel very confident unless there are known sellers who actually deal in authentic merchandise. That brief search was certainly an eye opener.

The last link you have provided is of a genuine bag. Newer models do not have a tree on the label.
