Regular Love bracelet too big. Should I sell and buy a smaller one?

Yes they fit differently.
What does your wrist measure?
Will you lose more or possibly gain weight?

I wouldn’t do anything until you’re at a consistent weight for a good amount of time.
Keep in mind, when I had/wore my small JUC, it was before I lost the weight. Yes, I do plan on losing more weight. I had bariatric surgery back in July, so I will most likely lose more weight. Not at my goal weight yet.

Congrats on your weight loss. I would wait until goal weight and prob another 6 months to see if you are consistent at the goal weight. It’s a tough long road for sure but more time to save for you bracelet :)

That's actually a good idea. I never thought about doing that. I took it off tonight to take pics for my quote request to FP and Yoogi's Closet, and it feels so bare and weird without it. Been wearing it 24/7 for almost 2 years since I got it.

I was looking on Fashionphile's website and Cartier's as well. What about the cuff? It seems I can get a cuff with a diamond and it's cheaper than the regular plain Love. Is the cuff something I could wear 24/7, or is it not ideal for that?

It is much too big IMO. I would be honest with myself. Am I planning on losing more weight and keeping it off? Does my weight fluctuate a lot? Maybe a bracelet that is so closely linked to the size of a wrist is a risky investment and another, more forgiving bracelet style might be a better choice for my circumstances. If you are confident that you can stay around your goal weight, buy a bracelet that fits at that time. It might serve as motivation to maintain weight! I would sell the bracelet now or hang onto it and sell it or have it remade by Cartier at a later date.

Congrats on the weight loss!

I wear my cuff 24/7. But you still need to know your appropriate size for it to fit correctly (typically one size bigger than regular Love).

I agree. Since I recently had bariatric surgery, they decreased the size of my stomach by 85%, so I can't really eat much anyway, so I assume, with that I would maintain any weight loss. But you never know. However, I will most likely lose more weight at this point since I'm not at my goal weight yet. Thanks for your input.

Good to know. I've always liked the cuff, but had a thing for the bracelet because it was screwed on. I liked that. But when I got my first Love back in 2008, my husband screwed it on me. At that time, it meant so much to me. I wish I still had that bracelet but it ended up breaking, so I was at least able to sell it. Only had it for 7 years. But now that he's gone, I just had my daughter screw it on me. But with a cuff, it doesn't matter to me anymore. I'll make sure to get the appropriate size though. At least if it doesn't fit, I would just immediately return/exchange it.

Wow I’m surprised to hear your bracelet broke - they seem so solid. I like the cuff bc I’m between sizes (17-18). It fits slightly looser than my 17 Small Love (which is snug fit) bc of the shape so it’s just perfect and still stacks well. Definitely give it a try :)

I like this idea, not only for consistency and time to save but the new bracelet could be a reward for the hard work and a nice remembrance of that.

I submitted my quote request to FP and Yoogi's Closet this morning, and already Yoogi's declined because it was "too used," and that they prefer their luxury items to be in almost new condition. They always have really low quotes anyway, so I'm not too worried about it. Guess we'll see what FP offers me. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

See what FP says, but if you could have it re-made by Cartier for the 30% cost of new that some TPF members have done that's what I would do.

I plan on it. Do you think Cartier would still do something like that even though I'd have to ship it to them? Since we don't have a boutique here in my state, I'd have to send it out. Do they require the money up front, or prior to them shipping? I don't even know which Cartier boutique to call to ask these questions. Maybe Las Vegas? Seems to be the closest.
